Moose [and Barry in particular] are a breath of fresh air in accountants. Friendly, unpretentious [and actually enjoyable!] monthly meetings have really helped my small creative business in its' steady growth over the last couple of years.

Really great personalised service.

I run a small consultancy and my business partner and I moved our accountancy service over to moose off the back of a recommendations. And I am glad we did.

The service they offer us is both business and personal accounting which makes for a seamless experience trying sort things out with HMRC.

Barry and his team set us up on accounting software, showed us round how it works, they are very open to all sort of queries about accounting and how tax works.

I really feel like they're an extension of the team!

Above and beyond what I expected from an accountant - Barry's more like a business manager, and has a calm way of explaining things that takes the stress out of tax and finances. Started off with a decent experience with Moose dealing with Barry as a Sole Trader. Following internal reshuffling within the company I was passed over to John and moved to a LC and my experience was horrendous -each month my accounts were deferred by the company rather than processed individually -as a result I had to pay a new accountant a full year of back pay to resolve their issues. Gets worse -the business refused to hand over all of my info to new accountant incl. VAT certificate or pass over mail leaving me with significant penalties. I can't understand how they are still being allowed to operate.

This business cost me thousands of pounds due to lazy, slapdash work by Barry on all fronts. They lost me all my furlough money and lied about it to my face for months. Turned out they were not insured so they promised to pay me for my losses out of their own money then they went non responsive. A truly horrifying experience.
