Awful experience, requested withdrawal of funds 3 years ago. Communication was semi regular until a year ago, they couldn't return the funds because of Grenfell Tower (I requested a withdrawal BEFORE they announced officially they would stop withdrawals due to this, I should have chased sooner). Then communication stopped. Emailed for an update and to make an official complaint. It's been ignored. I have called their telephone number - BEWARE, this is a third party business, all they do is take messages, that's it. Support@bricklane is email only. So you're gatekept from speaking to anyone. It's incredibly unethical to be in charge of someone's funds and then have no way of being contactable directly. The 3rd party company will tell you that they are transferring you, you'll hear hold music, then they'll say "I'm so sorry but the support team are engaged at the moment". This is a lie. They aren't ALLOWED to transfer calls. And under confidentiality there is no one they can transfer you to.
I am trying to officially complain via other methods, should I not hear back from my Official Complaint email I will be going to the Financial Ombudsman. But also be warned, Bricklane Investments are no longer under the FCA which means your money is not protected.
So, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I accepted an offer from them on my property in July. Was promised a quick sale etc. They conduct their own checks, firstly they demanded to lower the offer by 2.5k as they had an in-house team doing low EPC ratings. I got a private person to complete an EPC which rated a lot higher. They then agreed to pay their initial offer. Waited months. Then when chasing them they randomly pulled out without no reason at the end of October. Absolute waste of months and months. Do not sell your house to this scam company.

Have not yet paid back 6k invested back in 2017 (!) and no responses to emails, avoid at all costs!! I have passed this onto my solicitors.

Unsurprisingly , I have heard nothing and received zero payments. There will no doubt be an excuse again, maybe because it is Christmas? ?‍♀️
Bricklane behaviour is becoming nauseating and dishonest, I want back what is legally mine. I look forward to their reply.

Whoever joins this investment, please be aware that the investment is a scam. Bricklane have no intention of repaying investors hard earned money. I am a verified investor who is still waiting to be repaid over 4K. They make continued excuses as to why they are unable to repay our investment.
I am putting this in the hands of my solicitors.

Avoid these guys, complete waste of time. Put an offer on a house I was selling on the strength of being procedable. They were not. They wasted 3 months of my time and cost me £1000s. If they offer to buy your property run the other way.

Absolutely Shambles of a organisation, made a offer on our property. Prolonged the purchase and left us without a tenant in the property for 4 mths. Un-trustworthy, and surprised they can be called a professional company. Absolute Cowboys!! Avoid at all costs, sell your property cheaper, but avoid them

I've recently transferred most of my life savings into this fund- it's such a good initiative versus the other options in the market. Service has been fantastic- majority by efficient email and took a lot less admin on my side than I expected. Well done Bricklane!
