Had a great experience here each time I’ve been. Very thoughtful, thorough and friendly. Great communication.
Was apprehensive about going because of so many negative reviews, so wanted to leave one reflective of my experience which was really positive.

Recent redesign and confusing layout of this place is a disaster - designed by someone who really didn't think it through, having two post office counters at opposite sides of the shop, with a narrow alley between them. Staff clearly frustrated at constantly having to explain it, and it makes for an unpleasant experience.

The guy in post office is nothing but rude even when you’re asking a simple question. Says they’re open until 5:30 but he’ll refuse to serve you at 5. Chalfont St Peter post office much nicer and more accommodating

The website says The “Post Office” opens at 7am but they refuse to accept parcels before 9am so the times need updating. The shop opens at 7am to but NOT the Post Office!!!

I don’t know if the Post Office care about what their customers think - I doubt it - but if you have the misfortune to have to use them, I’d advise not to use this branch. Rude, unpleasant and unhelpful.

Not interested in the convenience store, needed the post office, but it shuts at 5.30pm. Don’t waste your time!

The post office does not open until 9am. The young lady I had was pleasant enough about it.
If they could change their times online to reflect that, it would be great.

Gerrards Cross post office is truly dreadful. I try to avoid it by going to Beaconsfield PO, where the staff are delightful, energetic, accommodating and efficient. All the things GX post office staff are not. GX PO has been like it for years and still is. The queues, which can be 20 minutes long, are hilarious. You don’t know whether you are queuing for the front desk or the back one, so people are constantly looking both ways to see which way to go. Then, if you have gone to one, you find it doesn’t do Amazon packages so you must join the queue again for the other till… They invested in a ticket dispenser so you could take a number and wave it, justifying your place, but it isn’t refilled, and hasn’t worked since the first few days of operation. And all this might be alright if you weren’t made to feel such a nuisance. If you read this review GX PO, send your staff to Beaconsfield PO to see how lively your workplace could be.
