If you need to drop off parcels, it's perfectly fine. As long as you've met the requirements, and bought it cheaper online, you'll have no issues. If your parcel is too heavy or the wrong size, they won't accept it else you'll receive a surcharge fine later on.
They now accept evri parcels but there can be a long queue if going after work or at lunchtime, so it's quicker to use kendrews.
Staff are definitely not rude but they won't go out of their way to help with something because usually there isn't much they can do and there are lots of people waiting behind.

Staff always look glum. One woman is persistently short, verging on rude. Only 2 counters. Queue often goes out of the door. Prefer to use Farncombe PO, they’re always helpful and polite

If there are any positive reviews they will be fake. I have been using this office for a while now but the employees seem to have more and more "bad days" where the attention and politeness levels have just plunged . It is a pity as the location is very convenient. Go to the Guildford Post office it's much better!! simply disappointed and unable to find any excuses for the stuff, hence I have decided to write a less than complementary review. AVOID!!!! BE AWARE THE STAFF ARE VERY RUDE!!

I posted a parcel in the Godalming PO, asking them to check the postage I had already put on was enough - they confirmed that it was. Sadly the recipient’s local branch didn’t agree - they had to pay another £3 postage!! I have asked Godalming to look into it, but have had no response. I can’t find a phone number to call them which is very unhelpful! I’m dissatisfied with the service and won’t be going there again.

Just like the last reviewer, I also always have good experience with Godalming Post Office (and I'm not a fake, nor a personal friend). If people are expecting super ("superficially") friendly staff, their service will be delayed and some already-impatient customers will be even more impatient and arrogant. I often see rude customers and I do feel sorry for the staff to have to deal with such unhappy souls. I want to believe Godalming is a town with kind people and I do hope people will treat the staff with respect.

Always delivered a great service to me, not sure why all the negative reviews, I've never had a problem there and the staff are friendly. Mind you it could be because people are usually motivated to report negative things rather than the positive.
