I've been renting for 9+ years, and have been with Maltings for the last 2 years and it has been the best experience I have had with any letting agency in the area! The team are so lovely and helpful, and any query or issue raised was answered/fixed promptly. The contractors used for any work carried out or annual checks completed were also great and seem to have longstanding relationships with Maltings which I think is a clear positive.

From my first viewing of the property through to handing keys back in, the process has been simple and communication throughout has been great. I cannot fault the service I have had with Maltings and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a property in the area. If I were to rent another property I would happily go back to Maltings.

Would not recommend this estate agent at all, very rude and cold when showing the house, extremely judgemental. They were not helpful with any of the processes at all & asked for sensitive information (bank statements) and should not have handled this

Agent was late for half an hour. And she has never seen the property before. Says a lot. Plus, I am not a fan of group viewings. You should be interested to get a good tenants, not me to impress you. Prefer Malborough on avenues

Do not go with The Maltings if you expect to see your full deposit back. Lovely and helpful throughout my nearly 3 years and then used any excuse to get me to foot a cleaning bill out of my deposit, after me chasing them for my deposit for weeks. Unprofessional, offensive and upsetting experience. Before I recommended The Maltings but not I would not go near them at all. No respect for their clients just after the money sadly.

Was with them for 6years. While most reported issues were dealt with swiftly when the tenancy came to a end that is when the problems started. We left the property in better shape than we found it. Yet they tried to justify not giving us our deposit back for stuff like the grass needed cutting in December? They then sent pictures which proved it didn’t. During our 6years I would call and speak to someone and they would sort things and call me back and was very good at communicating. But when we left the manager has failed to call back on a number of occasions to discuss issues around ending our agreement.

To sum up good while you are with them just don’t ever leave as they will rip you off!
