Used to be very good, recently really unprofessional. Went there at 14:15, there was a sign on the counter saying closed for lunch 1-2. The clerk eventually arrived at 14:40. Also has a sign saying it won’t accept Scottish notes? Seems very poor as this is legal tender and the post office offers banking services?

This USED TO BE BRILLIANT!! Now it's quite awful, which is such a shame. They just close whenever they want to it seems to me lately. Don't believe the opening hours posted on the site page. They're absolutely WRONG. I've been trying to call to ask when they're open til today and it's constantly engaged. I think the phone is off the hook because they can't be bothered to answer the phone. This isn't the 1st time either. Staff are what I can only call 'very cold" when dealing with you but I do get what I want done to be fair. It's so wrong that their Google site is very wrong with their posted opening times. NEVER open on a Saturday EVER. Need to do much better as , at the moment, the only people that are being considered are themselves!! They simply do whatever they feel like at any given moment and never consider the fact that the Post Office still is a much needed amenity for the local community.

Absolutely outstanding service from the lovely man at Prescot street post office liverpool today I was depositing what I thought was £450 into my account and the lovely gentleman behind the counter told me I had it wrong and it was actually £470 nice too see there is honest genuine people out there thank you very much I will definitely be returning to this post office in future . 10/10

Absolutely ridiculous says it closed at 1800 gone there to get my package and they closed at 1730 the guy was still there refused to give me my parcel. Had to leave work early to get there in time now I can’t get it because I won’t be able to leave work early again. Opening times advertised for 8 but they don’t open till 9

The man who works there is rude, creating problems out of nothing, and makes me regret going in. The woman however is lovely, helpful, and always makes my day. Just gotta be lucky on who's working the day you visit!

The clerks have always been very nice. Today, I got there just after 3pm. The guy at the grocery store checkout said they close at 2pm (on Saturdays). Nonetheless, I will go earlier next time.

Took £300 out of my partners account and is refusing to admit it. Even though its all there in black and white. On his online banking. He was rude and shouting treated us like we were scun that's hin in the next persons comments closes when he feels like it
