Recommended originally by a friend, three years later still with them. LJ Rose have managed the accounting for our company accounts for the past three years. Excellent customer service, always ready to pick up the phone and listen. Helpful through VAT registration, EOY returns, and changes of director and registered office addresses plus many other bits. Can't fault them, friendly team and met with Lisa who is lovely when we first setup with LJ Rose. 5* !

If I could give 1 star I would. LJ Rose is an AWFUL accounting firm and they do not provide any advice or guidance which is what you pay accountants for. The owner Lisa does not care about her clients and how to help them or advise them.

The lack of correct accounting advice from LJ Rose means that I ended up missing out on thousands of pounds in furlough pay because this incompetent company took me off payroll during the furlough eligibility period by mistake- and then they put me back on the next week. In the meantime I was not allowed to apply for any furlough despite being fully eligible for the whole time meaning I missed out on thousands of pounds. They didn't even apologise- they just told me to go on universal credit which obviously I wasn't eligible for.

Furthermore I got a late penalty fee from HMRC because LJ Rose forgot to file my account on the correct day and filed it 1 day later. This ended up costing me £150 !!

So avoid LJ Rose at all costs. Even if you pay an accountant twice the fees it will be worth it because it will save you in the long run!!

I have multiple business who use LJ Rose Accounting. Lisa and her team are most helpful and will work out of hours to get things done by a dealine, which i am entierly greatful for! Super Accountants, would highly recommend!
