Lovely hotel, very clean and well looked after. Staff very helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening but the breakfast (which was included) was really good. The exclusive use of the pool was fantastic, we weren't sure the 30 minute slot would feel enough... But it was! We were also able to book extra slots throughout our stay. A really nice hotel which has a lovely relaxed feel and which made it great for us as a family with a child. We will definitely be making a return visit.

We have had the most wonderful evening at The Harper. From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Everywhere Is beautifully clean. The food was amazing. Having an exclusive slot for private swim and hot tub use was wonderful. We would recommend to anyone looking for a night to get away, relax and enjoy everything this beautiful hotel offers.

My partner and I had a lovely 2 night stay at The Harper. We chose a big double room and were not disappointed. A good sized room with an extremely comfortable bed and a very nice shower. The complimentary drinks and snacks in the mini bar were a nice touch and even better that they were replenished the second day. We booked a 30 minute session for private use of the swimming pool and sauna, it's good to have this option so you can relax and enjoy without being in the company of strangers, but it would be nice to have it for a longer period. Breakfast was delightful, a lovely buffet style spread of pastries, cereals and fruit, and you can also have something hot to order (full English breakfast, eggs royale etc). All very delicious and sets you up for the day nicely. Definitely somewhere we would consider going back to, maybe in warmer weather so we can enjoy the Norfolk countryside a little more!

A fantastic 2 night surprise gift from my husband for my 70th birthday. From first entering the hotel and being greeted by Yaz, a very professional, knowledgeable and friendly member of staff, the right mood was set. It continued in the same vein. Room was beautiful, food excellent with the chef even adapting a dish as I am allergic to shellfish. Spa was excellent and I had a very relaxing massage. Will definitely be back. Val Irving

A hidden gem in Norfolk

My partner and I stayed at the Harper Hotel for one night, and we both agreed it was an experience we won’t soon forget. From the moment we walked into the beautifully designed lobby, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance was stylish and modern, yet warm and inviting, exactly the kind of place that makes you want to relax and unwind.

The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The check-in process was seamless, we stayed in one of the biggest rooms that was meticulously clean, tastefully decorated, and filled with thoughtful details. From the plush bedding to the luxurious bathroom amenities, it was clear that a lot of care had gone into making each guest’s stay as comfortable as possible.

We used the on site spa and booked a deep tissue massage which was amazing, we also took advantage of the on-site restaurant, where we enjoyed an incredible dinner. The food was fresh, flavourful, and clearly prepared with care and the service was spot on. After dinner, we enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar, which had a great selection of drinks and a cozy, intimate atmosphere.

Overall, the Harper Hotel provided exactly the escape we needed, even if just for one night. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or simply a restful night in a beautiful setting, I can’t recommend it enough. We’re already looking forward to our next stay – hopefully for a bit longer next time!

We had an outstanding experience staying at The Harper for 3 days and will definitely be returning. |The staff were all so helpful and friendly. We were so welcome and at ease there. Special mention to Henry who looked after us one evening in Stanley's - a real asset to the team. He gave us tips about where to visit and was an excellent host! |Also we have to mention Tom, the recently appointed head chef. His food is exquisite. We ended up returning to the hotel restaurant for a second night following an incredible meal that he and his team of chefs prepared. He even made us a brand new dish he was developing which wasn't on the menu yet (and it was incredible). If you live nearby, you should definitely get over there to try the newly developing menu!! |We had great chats with Piers who looks after things overnight and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay. |The rooms are well appointed with loads of extras (cocktails in the fridge etc). |We loved the private spa booking system. It's not difficult to do and you get told when you book your room that you should book the spa slots. We went a couple of times and it was fab to have the whole place to yourself. |Don't hesitate to book here.

I was very happy indeed with our stay at The Harper. I brought 11 guests for a tour of Norfolk, and this was our base for the week. The rooms are so comfortable, and large and very clean. The beds are also very good. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is extremely good - especially the smoked salmon! Thank you - we will definitely try to come back!
