My partner has encountered every kind of evasive action since attempting to make a claim a month ago. Forced to make recorded statements 3 times. Multiple different people calling to ‘verify’ a straightforward loss claim. Refusing (until forced) to resend an email, that was supposedly sent, with online claim form that requires completion, attached. All designed to delay, or wear clients down so they don’t persist.
Ombudsman will be involved in this, almost certainly.

Absolutely embarrassing company if you work for them stay where you are your services aren't required anywhere else stay put.

16 months on they've wasted every minute of my time ... finally I get justice and they've waited to the last day to send a cheque that will have me waiting yet more time to be cashed.

Just do everyone a favour and close down.

Have messaged me approx 30 times in a week about an accident where one is their clients is at fault. Told them as I have a company car I cannot claim direct and to stop messaging me - but they still text me 4 or 5 times a day
Have called a complained and within 2 hours guess what?! Another text - it feels like harassment at this point

Slow, uninterested and unorganised are all words that could be used to describe our interactions with this company so far. We went through a broker and unfortunately we didn't see the reviews for this company, but if we had, and based on our experience now, we would never have chosen to insure with them. It now gets worse. They refuse to send out copies of reports. They seemingly deliberately take a long time to act. They have only called me twice in 9 weeks and finally a massive red flag has appeared which we will be following up with regulators ASAP. To top every thing off, the broker that I used is now stopping their affiliation with them as they said the service is embarrassing and it reflects badly on them. Avoid wherever possible.

took over a month for my claim to be sorted, once it had been approved after numerous phone calls back and forth, i had a very rude individual who i spoke to on the phone saying that i had rang the wrong number and that i should of phoned MPL claims, in which there company “broker direct” was stated in numerous emails and i had phoned multiple times before and wasn't made away of this- however he continued to be very rude about the whole situation being very arrogant and abrupt to the point i had to put the phone down due to his lack of emotion and professionalism.

to say i wasn't even in the car when my accident happened, this whole situation has put me off entirely, as none of this was my fault but has been made out like it was!! definitely avoid !

Dreadful firm asking me to lie,l paid for top insurance,although l sent builders confirmation and photos of the ceiling falling down due to storm damage,they would not pay and blatantly said 'we don't believe you'.
I am insured for loss of rent from my tenant,just because l can't see,they claimed that lm not insured against that,I AM.
Plenty more, a gang of crooks and should be avoided at all costs.l do believe that this firm will eventually be held to account.

I, like so many of the other people writing a review here, wish I could give this company 0 stars. Read the other reviews. there is a consistent theme and its the same for me. Made a valid claim and it has taken them literally months to decide whether to pay out or not, and in that time I got called 4 times by them trying to arrange to recover my vehicle even though t had been sitting in their yard since 4th day after the incident. Utterly shambolic and unprofessional. I had to then keep chasing them to find out what was happening with my claim. Called them 7 times, week after week, and was always promised a call back, but only ever got calls from people wanting to recover the already recovered vehicle. Threatened them with the ombudsman, and was told my claim was on a supervisors desk who would make a decision the same day and would call me back. Naturally no call, and no decision for another 3 week (and 3 more calls). Lie after lie after lie. Absolutely do NOT use this company.

UPDATE 31st July 2023
I have just seen my mobile phone bill and suddenly things make sense. Their claim number is an 0845 very expensive premium rate number. No wonder these thieves never call you while you're waiting to hear about your claim for 3 months, they're rubbing their hands just waiting for you to call their moneymaking number, then keep you on hold for ages. No better than scammers and another reason to avoid them at all costs. Thieving gits.
