I had weald take over my policy from my last insurer's and received my renewal letter. I ring them up to pay for it and the person on the phone holds his hand over the receiver shouts my name across the office asking "Does anyone want to deal with me" he then says that the person that would deal with me is at lunch at then takes my number and that they will call me back. Well way to go on the professionalism front we'll that was Tuesday and 5 days later nothing! I have subsequently gone else where.
UPDATE: After the MD of Weald contacted me to assure me that steps have now been taken so that this type of incident will not happen again I have revised my review up from one star.

AVOID AVOID. Terrible nightmare experience. Withheld policy wording documents until point of claim. Now MD showing little to no interest. I urge all existing clients to check they have been sent policy wording documents which is being used as small print to try to void a claim. Company has now admitted to never sending small print. If no wording document sent please please make complaint to FCA as we are. AVOID AVOID.

Phoned and emailed to discuss my policy renewal several times over a week. No response. Phone went straight to voicemail- left messages- noone got back to me. Disgusted the CIPD recommend them!

Insured with a high value policy for over 5 years with this company. The account handler was off with personal issues and they let the policy lapse. Let's hope I don't get burgled or burnt to the ground this weekend
