Absolute worst company to deal with in a claim situation, completely inefficient, was struck by a TfL bus in central London with clear cctv and driver admission but 2 years later they still haven’t settled liability because they failed to contact the third party. They’ve paid me 3 lots of compensation for there negligence and I’m currently waiting for a £500 excess refund that should have been returned last week but was informed yesterday that there not sure why it hasn’t been processed, even though conversation logs from the 14th say it was processed. My premium hiked £1200 which I was told will be recalculated once the liability has settled but funny now I’m told it was inflation and not affected but my claim. Honestly there not cheap and not worth the hassle to deal with, once my cases are finalised I won’t be insuring with them again

Audi Car Insurance UK do not cover genuine OE Audi glass when making a claim. I had a genuine Audi warranty at the time I needed a windscreen replacement, who said I required OE Audi glass fitted or my warranty; covering auto wipers/headlights, high bean assist, cornering lights etc would be voided.

Audi Insurance UK wanted £600 for the OE Audi windscreen or £75 for the Chinese equivalent which my Audi warranty would not approve. Two Audi insurance products that clearly don't work together.

On further investigation Audi Insurance is actually underwritten by Direct Line Insurance in the UK, who use Autoglass as their windscreen repairers.

Long story short, I wasn't getting anywhere, going from Audi Insurance, to Autoglass, to Direct Line Insurance, all completely clueless. I cancelled my policy, went with a far cheaper insurance provider who doesn't use Autoglass, and had my windscreen replaced with genuine OE Audi glass for £125.

So a word of warning, when Audi UK Insurance say they replace parts with genuine Audi parts, this does not include windscreens. Autoglass who they use will try and tell you the windscreen glass is of the same standard/quality only for you to find out that your Audi warranty won't cover any of your electronic windscreen associated sensors when there are issues. So obviously it isn’t the same as OE Audi glass or Audi Warranty would cover it!! Even Audi UK customer services couldn't get their heads around it, and were of little help. Honestly, if I could give less than 1 star I would, and thankfully my vehicle was watertight

Audi Insurance is basically a Direct Line policy, beware and don't pay a premium for disorganised and poor service.

If You've never had a quote from Audi insurance now is the time to do so. They offer the best pricing currently on the market for super cars and super SUVs. You don't need to have an Audi vehicle to get a quote. They insure my lamborghini and my Bentayga for an unbelievable price..

Pricing for Audi and Porsche Direct insurance has gone crazy high compared to 2022. Audi Porsche direct are part of U.K. Insurance Direct Line Group and the service is shocking with the claims and quote departments making errors in their system. A quote from Admiral Platinum was 66% cheaper.

The price was competitive until you discover that it does not include European comprehensive cover. So 3 trips abroad will add another approx £180 a year.
