ATS took over the accounts from my existing bookeeper of 15 years.
I was paying £120 for the 3 years end tax for self Assesment.
ATS, without warning put that up to £168, and then, this year invoiced me for £300 including a 50% discount.
The accounts didnt change from the previous year.
What a joke!
I told them that i will not pay, and to adjust the payment to the previous year's amount. After arguing my point, the director, Mr M. ALAM, conceided to accept the previous years amount (£168).
I have told him that i will not use his firm again.
Absolute random figures thought up, to try and decieve vunerable clients.
Shamful attempt to try and justify why the charges were extortionate, yet, were half the price of the previous year.
I suggest clients shop arround with confidence, and you'll find a more competant, able, and cost effective accountant to do the job.
Shamful practice in my experience, and honest opinion.

Any replies from them will just be ignored, as i have said everything that needs to be aired.
