Poor performance, poor service and exorbitant hidden fees.
After holding a badly performing SIPP for several years my portfolio was worth less than the original investment. My financial advisor compared this to several other products of similar risk over the same period and they all outperformed the Talbot & Muir plan. The annual fees are exorbitant for very little service. No review of my investment was offered over the 6 years I had the plan and each year they were taking hundreds of pounds in fees. Eventually I transferred my investment out. They delayed and dithered for weeks, failing to provide my financial advisor with the requested information about the plan. The final sting in the tail was a £180 "admin fee" that they failed to mention. This was on top of my yearly fee that was paid in advance. This fee was deducted from my plan without authorisation.
Awful service. Look elsewhere.

I have dealt with T&M for a number of years now on an administrator to provider level and have always found all the various team members I've liaised with to be very helpful and quick at replying. Its a rare thing to have an almost "1-1" or direct support contact with Providers these days, but with T&M you do get a very personable style of contact/communication which makes my working life a lot easier on a day to day working relationship with them.

They do seem to have our mutual clients in their thoughts and seem very pro-active in reaching out to us on a regular basis to ensure all the background admin work that goes into servicing a client over the year goes smoothly and they never give us the impression that our mutual clients are being neglected or miss-handled.

Thank you to the T&M Team and hope this great level of service continues long into the future.

Disappointed with this company. Asking questions on SIPP setup is unacceptable as apparently you are wasting their time. It seems like it's my way or the highway. Wouldn't recommend them.
