Lovely to walk around the harbour in the day and especially at Christmas in the evening seeing all the lights on the boats.  The only royal harbour in the UK and a nearby walk to the largest weatherspoons of the UK and also local restaurants and cafes near the harbour.

5 stars for keeping the beauty of real marina. Full packed with amazing & experiences yachts. Love the clean water colour. Stormy clouds creating more dramatic views. A lot of drinking places, small cafes, restaurants around. U can see many dog walkers. Love this place

Tranquil and welcoming as always! Shame ferries are not operating anymore. This used to be a second busiest port in the country, truckers favourite as crossing to Oostende was four hours, ideal for four hours brake and more!

The most spectacular time to visit is Christmas as sailors decorate their boats with colourful Christmas lights.

I had a very enjoyable wander round Ramsgates historic harbour on a sunny July morning with my lovely partner.
It's a good place for disabled and pushchairs and easy to walk out along the harbour arms with plenty of seating for those who want to watch the boats and seagulls. The cafés and bars under the arches are very tempting and brick a brac shops are always fascinating to look round.

Well worth a visit, and if you have a camera there is always something to photograph. A special around Christmas is the boats in the marina specially decorated with lights for the festive season.
