Only posting this becasuse they get so many negative comments and yesterday my experience was the total opposite. They were very busy, every time i go in they always busy and do look stressed only being 2 people on to do everything. But i was greated with a smile from a lovely lady called hayley who was very nice and helpful. The workers in this place dont get enough credit for all the work they have to do.

I use the Kirkby post office most days, I’m normally served by a Young smiling lady called Amy at the counter, Amy is so kind, polite, caring, and always has a lovely smile to greet you, it’s always a pleasure to see Amy as she brightens your day up and nothing is to much if you need any help with anything 10/10

The service is friendly, quick, and all of the staff are pleasant to chat with while at the till. The best part however has to easily be the in building post office which is so convenient and so fast. Would absolutely recommend this place. Many of the negative reviews are extremely exaggerated..

Always very helpful and friendly what a great post office to use.
The opening hours are amazing even when i go early in a morning or late at night the staff are just as helpful. Must be managed very well now

Just been in today to send an item special delivery for Monday. Got there around half past 11 and the lady behind the counter was faffing around with bakery good for about 15 mins. When I eventually got served was told that the specials had been cut off already and it wouldn't leave until Monday. I paid £12 for this service. I told them they can cut the specials off again as I used to work in the post office. The lady who served me told me to be quiet as she doesn't want to upset the other person working there as she can get in a foul mood. Strange working conditions you have here.

This post office gives out the wrong information!! Told them I was sending batteries and the parcel needed a lables on it after checking on line. Was told no! Parcel was intercepted and batteries taken out and then repackaged and the rest sent on to recipient. Not a way to run a business and have the added stress of claiming for missing items!
