We had a positive experience with them and we are very pleased with their work.

We had a tight schedule, but they managed to start & finish work on time.

Everything was done as agreed. They were fast in responding and dealing with “surprises”.

They requested a 35% downpayment, the rest payment after the finishing the work, which I believe is fair.

They also offered a 12 month warranty for the work they have done.

The work they have done for us - painting, plumbing, some tiling.

So I highly recommend this company.

If we could give a 0* we would. The (ongoing) experience with Lillywhite has been horrendous. Further down we left a 5* review when they completed a different job a number of years ago, but this time around it has been an entirely different story.

The job was simple - move a small part of the kitchen around to make space for a door with two side windows to be put in towards garden, replacing a window there. No structural work needed (eg steels).

The job was instructed in March 2024 and the first part of the job completed in May 2024. During that first part there were builders who would not turn up when they were meant to; builders who would call us directly saying they are sorry but they are not coming as they have not been paid by LW; when the simple kitchen shuffle was eventually done we alerted the builders (24th May!) to the fact that due to holes being left open where the door would eventually go in, we now had slugs coming in daily into the kitchen. We sent videos of these and they promised to come out and fix this whilst said door was delivered. They did not and have not to this day (12th October!!!) and since the colder weather has kicked in, those same holes are allowing mice in too.

The door and windows were delivered months after initially being told (Blame put onto supplier); when someone eventually 2.5 months later came to install these, they said they were the wrong size and whoever (in their immediate team) had measured these in the first place had done so incorrectly. It is now October - the correct windows have not yet been delivered and every time anything is chased it's 'I'll let you know next week' - latest chase from us was this morning and the 'builder is in hospital' this last week. fine but this is not a week delay, it is MANY months of errors, delays, no updates and being fobbed off; and 'they would prefer not to subcontract it out'. Course not, that would cost them, but what about us who have been left with half a kitchen and slugs and mice coming through the holes left open in the original kitchen move.

Attaching photos of what the job entailed, the wall as it was left inclusive of some of the holes, some of the slugs and the clearest photo of a mouse we could take at a distance, given we are terrified.

We had a leak in the bathroom, which caused water damage to the floor and ceiling. Straight away, Lillywhites had someone booked in to come and access the damage and find the source of the leak.
All the work was carried out to a high standard, appointments kept on time and I definitely would use Lillywhites again for any future work in my property. Highly recommend!
