Counter service is slow and tedious. The self-service tills can fulfil most needs, but they take some getting use to, although there is usually a member of staff on hand to assist.

I bought few toys, pens and colouring books for my Autistic daughter few weeks ago. I paid for my over priced items and headed to the exit onto broad street.

As I left with a few others customers the alarm sounded and I immediately returned to the store..the alarm was still beeping but the asian security guard was only focused on me (white male)) and allowed other exiting Asian customers free passage..wink..wink..guaranteed they had stolen item.⚡️

He searched my bag and kept scanning toys but no beep.he could barely speak English and seemed to struggle with basic communication..he put his dirty hands on my kids toys that I’d payed for and he’s assumed I’d stolen....why are these people allowed security jobs he was vile..definitely needs a good hot bath..his personal hygiene was awful and his body odour probably set the alarm off!!!!A very scruffy poor representative of WH Smith’s🙈

The staff attitude was awful. I was on the self checkout machine trying to buy a stamp to send a letter but I tap on a wrong button that the machine was shown someone is coming to help. A staff came with a very rude attitude, took over what I was doing and told me to put my letter on the scale. I can’t really understand at the time and he was so impatient and made a tut sound to me!
It was a really awful experience.

Needed to return a few things from Amazon. Selected Broad Street post office. Waited in queue for ten minutes. Finally told their wifi wasn't working so they couldn't process the return. I can't recommend this Post Office.

I went from Wokingham on Sunday to send an urgent parcel. After I waited on the queue they informed me that won't be sending parcels until Tuesday. If this us not a joke of a service, I don't know what it is.

I do not really want to leave a bad review.
At this post office, the counter staff had a bad attitude. My parcel was delivered to this post office, and I asked them to look; one of the counter ladies said no parcel had been delivered, but other guys helped me find it.
And every time I have been there, the counter is very slow, 30 mins plus!
The worst service I have ever seen!

The waiting time in the queue is minimum 25 minutes! Can’t they hire more staff? Is a joke anytime you come here but much more respect for the only and always 2 staff member who are working here!
