We had a fabulous stay at this stunning and luxurious cabin, just 10 min walk from Berry Head in Devon. Place was immaculate with lots of games for family, every bit of utensils and cupboard essentials for a family stay. Weather was amazing too, so kids were able to safely play outside under the sunshine. Thank you so very much and I hope anyone who stays there enjoy this lovely vacation house as much as we did.

Booked for Bank Holiday weekend in Brixham. Wow what an absolutely beautiful property the Watch House is. Well equipped, spacious, tastefully furnished and the most amazing views. Jodie was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We've already booked again for next year and I can't wait!

We stayed at the Watch House in Brixham and had a terrific time. It is the type of property where you realise that staying put really is an option. It’s hard to think you’ll get a better view of Brixham, Torbay and Torquay so a glass of wine, some good olives and maybe a deck of cards on the balcony seemed wholly appropriate. Jodie was friendly, approachable and open to the extra requirements we had re access and movement around the property. Delightful experience. Maybe an upgrade to the Wi-Fi would come in useful but otherwise, look no further….

We stayed at Sea Dreams lodge which was beautiful and really peaceful. We felt it was the perfect spot and really enjoyed our first holiday as a family here.

The only thing I’d mention is that the airbnb listing specifically states there is air conditioning in the lodge. So when I knew it was going to be a warm week, I didn’t bring my fan for this reason. One day the lodge got really warm that it was 28 degrees inside and with an 8 month old baby, it was difficult to cool the lodge down. When I asked the host how to turn the air conditioning on, I was told none of the lodges have air conditioning. This was disappointing but nevertheless we did enjoy our stay here.

The airbnb listing also states there is no washing machine but there is a washing machine so albeit it did benefit us but I just think the airbnb listing needs to be accurate.

There was also a slight discrepancy on check out time - directly on the listing it says to check out at 9am but my email confirmation and airbnb details confirmed check out was 3pm. We left around 10am and the host was outside so I do apologise if we were meant to have left by 9am, it’s just the details I had confirmed I had until 3pm.

Whilst these were slight niggles, we did have the best time on our first holiday as a family of 3 & I would definitely recommend staying here x

Bay dream believer, what an absolute delight, great location, fantastic views and great property as a family of 5 with 2 dogs. 2 weeks thoroughly enjoyed by all. Great communication by the host.

Lucky enough to stay in PENROSE for 4 nights.Immaculately presented property affording excellent views of the working harbour and across Torbay.Easy 2 minute walk to the town and access to all amenities. The property contained everything we needed . Couldn't recommend it highly enough and will certainly return.

My family and I stayed at the Watch House for 2 nights. The house is split over two floors, each room has its own charm, the lounge and kitchen are stunning, making you instantly feel relaxed and at home, both have great views over Brixham port, all but one bedroom also have stunning views across the Brixham port and further into Torquay. My only comment, the access to the house is very narrow, but once there it is all great with ample parking for one car outside.
