I could not have asked to work with better accountants. Martyn and his team, Ryan, Libby, and Anita (to name just a few) are incredibly professional, efficient, and astute. We are an innovative health and wellness start-up so we were looking for an accounting firm who (1) would be attentive to our needs as a start-up and who genuinely cares about small businesses (2) was willing to learn and become familiar with the industry in which we work (3) would know how to make our life easier through minimising red tape and administration whilst also meeting accounting deadlines. Landmark have fulfilled all three criteria for us. They do our VAT return, payroll for employees, annual company accounts, personal income tax for managers/directors. They continue to perform each task efficiently with great attention to detail. There are four things I particularly love about the team: firstly, they send you gentle reminders well in-advance for when work is due so that you are not panicked and can instead work gradually to submit what is required. Secondly, when you have a problem and cannot find a solution, they will go out of their way to help you to either resolve the problem or find an alternative solution. Thirdly, they are extremely reasonable in terms of costs and will never try to charge you more than the cost of the actual work that needs to be done. Finally, Martyn is extremely business savvy and has a genuine interest in seeing businesses thrive, which is exactly what start-ups need when it comes to accounting. In addition to managing our accounts, he helps us, where he can, in terms of giving us ideas on business growth and strategy. His job does not require him to do this; but he does it because he cares about Zen Maitri and our success. I recommend Landmark unreservedly.
