A beautiful little harbour with a fairly decent selection of shops. Some questionable pubs and sadly sky high prices, like most places these days! Great fish and chip shop at the end of the harbour though!

Lovely little harbour with lots to see. We took the coastal path to the Napoleonic Fort Wall. Had a lovely lunch at one of the many that dotted the route

First visited here when I was only a few months old, then every year for 20yrs, and it's great. Brixham and it's surrounding beaches etc were the scene of many a family holiday and coming back now some things have changed and some things have stayed the same but it all feels familiar and that's wonderful. Eating fish and chips while sat on the harbour wall brought back great memories! It's well worth a visit if your down here. ️?

Beautiful little fishing town, My wife and I have returned many times. So many memories. Our two daughters loved it, too. Great choice of restaurants, pubs, shops. Lovely boat trips and steam engine railway. The best boat trip by far is boatsafari.co.uk (on a catamaran) which only takes 12 people per trip so plenty of room to move around.
The view across the harbour towards Torquay is second to none.
Well be back again soon.

On our way back from holiday, we stopped in Brixham. Parking in the town centre can be tricky on a busy day, with a maximum stay of 3 hours. The high street is lined with plenty of shops, and the village itself is a charming fishing spot. You can see the colourful houses from across the harbour, and the best place to take photos is along the promenade leading to the lighthouse. The beach is made up of pebbles and rocks, with azure waters that are crystal clear and refreshingly cold. The harbour also offers a variety of cafes and restaurants. We didn’t have enough time to explore everything, but it's definitely on our list for a longer visit in the future.

Lovely harbour. Loads of shops and things to do. Very reasonably priced newspaper shop on the corner near the fish market that does coffee and tea really cheap compared to the others.
