Having visited on Wednesday in order to watch my grandson in 'bugsy' , which incidentally was brilliant, I was impressed with the manners of the pupils. (Especially year 8).
Thomas ( who was doing the lights) showed me the way to the school .plus

It’s terrible the teachers don’t do their job properly and I could write a whole book of complaints abt this school but I’m lazy and my battery is low so… Idk, this school is just not good

This school has absolutely let us and our son down and i do not recommend it at all, it’s gone down hill very quickly, my son has concentration issues and instead of working with him like we have been asking for a long time all they wanted to do was palm him off somewhere else, so he was sent to another college before time and we’ve had nothing but positive feedback from them about him, they have also said he shouldn’t have been put there. The work is too easy for him, he’s not one of the ones that messes around and it is not the place for him he shouldn’t have been put there. They are not willing to work with them they aren’t Interested, so he gets sent to elsewhere and they still say what he does and doesn't do even though he's not there so will be glad when he's out of there, either he's there or he's not you can't have it both ways send him elsewhere and still have control over him.

That’s not all I am livid, we had to pay a deposit for his end of school prom, to be told without reason that he can’t go. So tonight is the night of the prom and the poor boy is waiting at his girlfriends house for her to return from the prom also ruining her evening aswell. They only get one chance at this and it’s been taken away by his form tutor with no reason. We then struggled to get the money back they were ignoring us when we were contacting them about this issue and the whole school is an absolute shambles

The school isn't very good at tackling bullying. The headmaster is very greedy for money and doesn't really care for the students. When the norovirus came to the school, the headmaster said that he would get the school deep cleaned but in the back corner of the Geography room there was mold climbing up the wall. On the other hand the staff are very nice and when you arrive in year 7 they are very welcoming.

Parents were left completely out the loop when a former pupil tried to buy a gun to shoot up the school a few years ago (Google Zachary Dunning). Bullying policy is shameful. I'm a former pupil and I used to suffer severely from mental health issues which almost certainly stemmed from my time at this place. I'd question the morality of any parent who willingly sends their child here.

Fantastic community college. The focus there is fully on the students and personalising their journey through their school years to achieve and specialise their own skillset suited to their individual strengths and goals. Combined with the current superb leadership team this school should be Highly recommended.

Friendly environment and loved my years there and is so easy to make friends and the teachers always have something good to say 5 stars 🌟

I've just left RCC, its a good school, you get what you need apart from some of the students beaver is bad other then that ill miss the teacher a lot I would like to thank the SEN department for all the help and support I had.
