This was my second attempt of ticking off a new spoons. First time I tried it was closed for the day.
Easy to find with the train station less than a 10 minute walk away. There's also a small car park across the road and also free roadside parking close by.
I had a very good pale ale for £1.99.
Quite busy on a Friday afternoon despite the unpredictable weather.
Plenty of small spaces if you want privacy.

One of the nicest and welcoming Wetherspoons I've been to. I wanted to try a new one and picked Sowerby Bridge, it wasn't a disappointment at all. Beautiful and clean, cosy, very very clean and the toilets and the walk to them are one of the best I've seen.

Staff really nice, not sure the other comments were accurate about the staff, being a customer myself....we're not always right!

But, please do support this Wetherspoons as its a gem of a place. X

Standard fare for a Wetherspoons...And liked the large windows at the front so you can have a beer and watch the world go by!...Quite busy (on father's day) but still served quickly with the friendly staff... quite like the quieter area round the back of the bar when eating.....called in a good few times now.
One of the better 'spoonz' in the area!

Nice cozy place. Food came super quickly.

Only down side I'd say is it is not dog friendly despite all the outdoor space I'm pretty sure you can't even sit outside with your dog.

Well, I have never been more embarrassed in my entire life. There was a young server there with multicoloured hair little bit of pink in it She was rude out of order for any customer for any customer. She refused me service. I refused to send me any more alcohol. After claiming that I fancied her and I was sat with my wife, honestly no wonder the business is having times Honestly disgusting. I would never recommend this place to anyone. And trust me when I say this is not anything like a Wetherspoons I’m used to

We ordered 2 breakfast wraps which we’re definitely freshly cook yet just Luke warm to eat? Totally spoiled the flavour and we only ate half. We didn’t so much complain but how can you they get it so wrong? Fresh but cold food? Waitress did offer us another one but we didn’t have time as we had an appointment booked. Really dissatisfied.

Nice seating area with booths at the back of the bar. No hot chocolate or mocha available at the hot drink machine, a common occurrence a Wetherspoons nowadays it seems. Car park to rear is temporarily closed due to canal work.
