So I went in to pick up a passport form and was informed by a very nice young lady who told me that they can do all the forms for me with their post office passport checker. I was so impressed with how easy they made that whole process and the level of service was incredible. Will recommend this Service to anyone getting a passport and big thanks to the amazing and friendly staff who work there.

I am a regular customer to this Post Office and would just like to add my overall experience here.
I always come away with a smile as the staff are so friendly and helpful.
We always have a laugh when time permits, but as this is a town centre based Post office it can get very busy.
Always good customer care, keep it up!

I do not recommend this place. The customer service is at a very low level. I asked for my letters to be sent in the cheapest way possible, but the man charged me the most expensive option. Moreover, one of the letters I sent to Poland was returned to my address. When I tried to resolve the issue, the man attempted to say that someone else had made a mistake. I also asked why I was charged more, and at first, he claimed that first-class stamps were cheaper, but when I asked about the prices, it turned out that first class costs £1.70 and second class £0.89. Then he said that I should have asked for second class. Someone should look into this. This is outright lying, scamming, and incompetence.

What is the point of closing at 5.30 when most people finish work at 6 ?

EDIT : Went in there today to pick up my parcel. The staff from the post office took a while to find my parcel, no worries. Then he told me a few times to take my review down as its not his fault-- it's post office's/ royal mail fault. LOL. NO sign of emphaty, not even an 'I'm sorry that the opening hours are not clear enough" . So no, i won't be taking my review down as it's your responsibility to speak with whoever is in charge of the website and have it updated, it's not my responsibility to guess your opening hours. I'll take it down when this will be sorted, not when the staff tells me to. This 1 star reflects the customer service at post offce. , not the shop itself.

Passport service is really efficient and quick. They do everything on an iPad including the photos there and then. Just turn up with your old passport and it's rediculously easy. Genuinely good service.
