We have recently used Michael’s to sell our property in Braintree. The Braintree team have been absolutely fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend. We initially tried to sell through a big name local agent and had nothing but trouble! Swapping to Michael’s was the best thing we did.

Gemma has been very professional and proactive throughout, holding a complicated sale together through her excellent communication up and down the chain, which is all we could ask for.

Joely and Patrick conducted our viewings and both were very professional, turned up on time and kept us informed of buyer feedback promptly.

I would strongly recommend that you do not use Michael's to sell your property. We have just purchased our property via them, and they were responsible for the top 2 links in the chain. The communication was terrible, we weren't informed of issues within the top of the chain until our own estate agent was notified of the issues at a much later date. They repeatedly gave us incorrect information regarding updates within the chain, constantly having us thinking we were 1 step from exchanging for a month but then saying there was 1 more thing that needed to be done. It was only when our estate agent started reaching out to contacts within the top of the chain that we weren't awaiting for contracts to be signed as there were still 9 enquiries outstanding and contracts hadn't even been given to our sellers. They also had poor customer service, as they were very rude when we were contacting them for updates. Avoid at all costs.

Patrick valued our flat and was completely transparent with fees and managing our expectations of the property market, there was no hard sell at all. This was the complete opposite to the service we had received from the other agent.

We had originally had our property valued by Steve and we loved the amount of time he put into getting to know us and what we wanted and really appreciated his time.
We bought our house through Michael's, it was a long winded process to say the least, but everyone we spoke to was so helpful and welcoming. Steve again was brilliant and always keeping us updated or checking in with us which we really liked, we didn't feel like just another client. As the process was continuing through lockdown Steve made every effort to help continue the process and even on their first busy weekend back managed to fit us in for a quick viewing for our property to check everything was in order. My house was on the market for 6 months with another estate agents I switched to Michaels as they sold my neighbours property in less than a month. I am so glad I switched estate agents as they sold my house within a week of being on the market and for a price I wanted. They did all the viewings where as with previous estate agents I had done the majority of viewings. They were also less expensive with regards to fees but provided a much better service. I can not fault them- any issues with solicitors they also helped to follow up and to ensure the process for exchange and completion was in an agreed time frame. Communication was good and staff were very helpful. Stephen even came back to do an evening viewing- something other estate agents wouldn’t have done. I do feel that they went above and beyond.
