Nothing but a professional and wonderful experience so far. We've used quite a few letting agents and GB are by far the friendliest, efficient and trustworthy agents of managed properties we've used and that includes the bigger prestigious named ones. As renters, it's important to have agents that respond quickly to requests and who understand the needs of both tenants and the landlords, GB do that. If we could choose who we rented from going forwards, we'd choose GB Lettings every time!

when you have a taking your money but when you want your holding deposit back after vacating the property in far better shape than how we found it they have the audacity to tell us that we left the property “dirty”.
In my opinion avoid at all costs.
We have given this greedy business and landlord 19,7000

because of some apparent
dust on skirting boards kitchen
cupboards not cleaned is a complete lie which is clearly their last chance extract more money out of good, decent, honest people.

Avoid GB Property Management & Lettings in Tavistock, Devon at all costs. As a professional couple with no pets, no children and non smokers we were told when we vacated the property it was left in a dirty mess which requires a cleaning contractor to come in to give it a “deep clean”. We were then told that they physically ran their hands along the skirting and clumps of dirt was on their hands which is a complete and utter lie as we don’t live like pigs. Trust me when I tell you that we left that property in far better condition than how we found it as we spent days cleaning it from top to bottom. From Glenda Bassett the owner to Nancy her daughter and partner of the so called family business to the incompetent colleagues such as Marcus one of the letting agents they are fuelled by greed, lies and squeezing as much money out of good honest people. When we called the agency we were greeted by Nancy, an extremely rude and obnoxious individual that wouldn’t even allow us to speak. Trust me! From somebody that has had two years experience of dealing with these people… save yourself the trouble and hard earned money and use a different letting agency. If I could give 0 stars I would. Disgusting!

After nearly 3 years as tenants with GB lettings I thought that I would update my review. In the time we lived in the property GB lettings couldn't have been more helpful. We lived in an old barn conversion so there always seemed to be something going wrong. We just picked up the phone and they were friendly and resolved any issue's promptly.
Never were we made to feel like a nuisance.
When we left the inspection was balanced and reasonable and we received our full deposit back.
I would not hesitate to rent with GB lettings again.

We dealt with Glenda and she was very kind. She waited nearly an hour after closing for us to collect the keys as we was coming from Spain so we have a nice bottle of Spanish wine for her. They are very thorough in processing which they have to be . That did get a little frustrating but I appreciate that they act on behalf of the vendor. I would definitely recommend them as vendor or tenant...
