My wife and I with our little dog Dodger stayed here a few weeks ago, in glorious spring weather. We stayed in the Coach house, a fully self contained unit, very comfortable, tastefully decorated and with views to die for. The site is managed by the owners Simon and his wife who are extremely welcoming and helpfull. They have 2 dogs Ruby and Inca, who with our Dodger were an absolute delight. We have been here before and it was a welcome return and where we would recommend highly.

We have just returned home from a long weekend at Simon's place and we felt very sad to leave. Our long weekend was exactly what we wanted. The coach house is perfect. My husband said it's the best Airbnb he has stayed and I have to agree.
Every detail has been thought of and everything is there. The kitchen is well appointed and we cooked every night. The place is perfect for us (2) and our senior doggies. Simon and his 2 doggies said hello after we had settled in. The place with the meadows, the views looking out from the front of the coach house are stunning. We loved watching the birds come into the gardens and our dogs had so much fun sniffing all the amazing smells.
The house is in a great location and we were able to easily visit local sights and explore. The 2 new hobbit houses on the property will be great when they start to be available in the next few months.
We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return to the area in the future.

We stayed at the Coach House for a weekend, travelling as a family of 3 with our 4 year old daughter, and our dog. The place is absolutely beautiful, internally & externally. A spotlessly clean, well appointed, tastefully renovated interior and a large secure outdoor space for the whole family to enjoy. The view is amazing - I sat and watched the sun come up one morning with a cup of tea from the terrace listening to the sounds of the countryside which was probably the highlight of my whole weekend! Simon had also left us some locally produced welcome gifts, all of which were delicious. I can't fault the property at all and we hope to return again soon.

The kitchen had all the mod cons and plenty of equipment, and there is a coal BBQ on the terrace.

The location is perfect for exploring the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, with the main Forest visitor centres and Symonds Yat being within 15 minutes drive. We also ventured across the Welsh border for a walk at Cleddon Shoots. The local town with supermarket and takeaways is approx 10 minutes drive. With so much to do locally, you could easily stay for a week or more and be entertained and comfortable.

What a great find and introduction to a beautiful area. The Coach House was spotlessly clean with thought out accommodation for a relaxing stay. Settled in quickly and enjoyed spending time there rather than just being out all the time. Our Cavapoo, Ruby was in doggie heaven and appreciated the welcoming treats as did we! We were blessed with wonderful weather for September so could sit out and relax. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in The Forest of Dean area

Had such a lovely, restful weekend away at coach house. Would highly recommend. Such beautiful space and the views were amazing. Simon our host was so lovely, responded quickly and made us feel really welcome. You could really tell they had taken time to think about how to make guests feel comfortable. Had some lovely meals nearby (at places recommended by the hosts). We are really grateful we found this place.

Stayed at The Coach House for a few days, it was perfect. Simon and Becca are great hosts and their two spaniels were equally as welcoming. The property is immaculate and I just loved the view across the valley watching the wildlife and the cows in the beautiful evening sunshine. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to relax and escape to the countryside.

We chose to spend our honeymoon at The Coach House and I can happily say, it was fantastic. The Coach House itself was perfect for our needs, we have a nearly one year old, and a dog. The hosts Simon and Becca (as well as their two doggies) were very welcoming, the accommodation was beautiful, clean and well presented with plenty of room for our needs. The setting is stunning with gorgeous views from the large living room windows and the location perfect for all the local attractions. We will definitely be going again and would recommend Simon and Becca, and their beautiful Coach House to anyone.
