Attended the Brixton London branch of Jamaïca National Bank today.
To say it was a almost traumatic wouldn’t be overstated
Worst customer service ever
To the two male staff in attendance, I know we all all Jamaicans but please be informed some of us are not used to that kind of treatment
Jamaïca National I will be closing the account
The way you conduct business in 2024 is archaic, gone out with the pit latrine
You no longer serve my purpose
I should be able to request a card over the phone
What does my life insurance and my annual salary got to do with an ATM card I want to use on vacation?

As executor of an estate that had an account with JN Bank I I have been trying to obtain a balance at date of death since 16 April - I have called many many times and emailed and am still waiting. All of the other banks I contacted were really helpful and quick but not JN Bank. Thus JN Bank are the only reason I cannot apply for probate. I do not recommend them at all - and please don't reply, JN Bank, and say to phone you because I have tried that - many many times - and nothing happens despite your promises.

The customer service was outstanding. A young gentleman named Karo was so helpful in helping me filling out some forms and also directing me to JN Money further down the road and also talking me through the process in depositing funds into my account. I just want to also say a BIG thank you to Kaydian and Shevon for their excellent customer service. I will definitely will be returning to see you guys now and then.?

After waiting well over
an hour.
On 19th May 2023, Cole the customer service representative refused to scan my documents to send to a JN branch in Jamaica. I had to give him my mobile phone so he could copy a email address of his bank colleague in Jamaica.
He took it upon himself to read my personal email, misread what has been written to me personally. And decided i had to make a scheduled meeting, & fill in stacks of paperwork in order to send the documents.
The document were to be given to a rep dealing with a complaint I had made months earlier. The email which he rudely read was from customer service about updating my account. He put two & two together a got 5.
No customer service . A scam operation .

Absolutely disgraceful Customer Service and I use the term Customer Services very loosely. I could not log on to my account because when I try to log on it asks me security questions which I had never even picked as my security. I have called JN Bank on many occasions regarding this. However yesterday their Customer Services surpassed themselves. Three of their Customer Services agents actually cut me off when they could not be bothered to dive the issue. One of them said she would send me a new link but not to access it as she would call me back in 10 minutes. Eventually after calling them for over 2 hours a Customer Service agent went away whilst I was on the call to find out why I could not do what I wanted to do and she solved it. It was because the account I have was a holiday a:c therefore I could not do transfer online. I really do not like putting down my own people in this way especially being British born but it was frustrating & disgraceful. I am actually booking an appointment to close this account and will take my money elsewhere as when I relocate to Jamaica I do not want to deal with this shabby behaviour towards customers. I have now opened a bank a/c with one of the other Jamaican Banks here in London and what a difference. JN Bank you should be ashamed of your selves.

I was hoping to join this bank and also one in JA. I sent in my details over 2 months ago and sent several emails for confirmation all is well. No reply whatsoever from Shevon in Brixton or Theodore in JA. Not sure why my details and personal data have been taken and now my emails are ignored . Not impressed. Update: May 2023documents sent including passport all bank and confidential details January 2024 still no reply.

JN Bank UK list of errors so far.
1]Took hours to open a fixed rate acc because their website had a technical glitch with Google Chrome,had to phone customer services several times & waited 1 hr to be put through to an agent.
2]Transferred £1000 into my JN Bank Uk acc,& 3 days later it hasn't appeared!
3]Numerous calls to customer services,another hour waiting on the phone to be told there is a technical glitch with transfers as well!
