We had a leak in our home cause by frozen pipes. We called our insurance company for an emergency call out. J&C home services came to resolve the issue. Although by the time they came the pipe had thawed out we were left with a better understanding of what had happened and what to do next time. Which made so much sense as it was very distressing and stressful. Wearing shoe covers they went through the property checking the boiler and heat supply, then the waste pipe outside the property and the bathroom and toilet where the leak stemmed from. Very professional and friendly to us and gave us advice on how to change the pipe to a larger ml to help reduce the chances of this happening. We were both very happy with the service and would use this company for future repairs. Many thanks for putting our minds at ease. Great service.

They installed a boiler for us in June and never provided the gas safe register building regulations certificate. We kept emailing them, called several times over all these months, sent a letter while they kept ignoring us like some rubbish and instead took jobs from other people. It was our mistake to pay a contractor without having all the paperwork submitted by them first but also extremely disappointing that once you pay someone they don't care anymore nor do they respect you enough to even respond.

The heating failed and we had no heating at all. Jonathan was so helpful and attended the following afternoon.

The fault was quickly found and fixed.

Please see image to when the PCB was installed twice due to one being faulty.

As the Mrs was home at the time, she left the engineer to it being the expert and out of trust.

We are very disappointed to see the damage made.

We only noticed the thermostat not working which a complaint was logged. Since the engineer visit yesterday which you can see the wires exposed in the image.

I did ask the engineer if he could fix the exposed wires but unfortunately said the housing is broken and to speak to the company.

We are going around in circles to resolve the damaged caused by one of your engineers.

I rang Jonathon @ J&C Home Services Ltd on Monday 2nd Sept 2024 to give me a quotation for reconnecting my LPG boiler, boiler service, and winterisation of my system. I contacted him because he lives less than half a mile from my address and I always like to keep business local.

He informed me that the earliest he could visit me to view and quote for my work was last Sunday 8th September. We confirmed this day/date and he was going to let me know on the day what time he would attend.

I messaged him on the day to reconfirm our appointment and to enquire as to what time he would be attending that day. The message was confirmed as being delivered, but, sadly, Jonathon did not respond and he did not attend my property as he had arranged.

Today is Wednesday 11th September 2024 and I have not heard anything from Jonathon since.

I am extremely disappointed by his lack of commitment and professionalism to his potential customers and I have been forced to visit the Gas Safe Register and now consider other companies. ☹️
