The woman here closing the shop today needs lessons in customer service and health and safety. Walked in the shop, start looking at envelopes, suddenly all of the light in the shop turn off. We'd only been in there for maybe a minute at this point. Employee walks over and very rudely as if we've already done something wrong tells us we need to leave because they close in 2 minutes. No words were said before switching the lights off, could've just said as we walked in that they were about to close and would be no problem, but to just switch off the shop floor lights while we're still inside looking at things from the shelves is pretty stupidly rude. Not to mention if I'd tripped as I turned to leave I could definitely be going in for a compensation claim or something. Train your a bit staff better.

Impossible to work with. The postman leaves the cards in the door, doesn't knock, doesn't ring. I have been waiting for a signed for parcel which I needed for a birthday. Post office doesn't answer the phone, website is useless for complaints.

Would like to say a big “Thank you” to Sharron and Alison for always being professional, courteous, co operative, helpful and friendly.
Whenever I’m in the Post Office it is always so refreshing to be served by either of you.
You are both an asset and a credit to the Post Office.

One staff member on the 23rd of December and 20 customers in que is poor staff management, ive come to expect the same from Ben and his team, useless to say the least, whenever 2 staff members are on. I'm sure they see it as their right to gossip instead of working, 25 minutes to send a parcel is crazy!

Cashier top end is always closed! The one on the other end is rude, loud and always gossiping while there's long queues and she needs more training! Today spent 20 minutes in queue whilst she's arguing with a customer how her letters shouldn't be sent parcel force only to charge her for parcel force delivery when they were already paid for! How does this staff member not know what a scanning label looks like!?! I have been at post office before and she often needs help! usually the young girl is helping her but this was just ridiculous! I heard the girl say to say her that you're suppose to just scan the label as it's prepaid and she argued back that she didn't know! How do you not know what a label looks like!? She needs to gossip less and understand how to do her job better! No excuses to mess up something so simple

How Royal Mail can justify a 2-hour window between 8-10 on the depot side is ridiculous! How can those that work day time hours ever collect their parcels without taking time off? And you can’t even collect parcels from the main post office side of the building which is open more sensible hours. Why?! Whoever thought up this system needs a reality check.

Furthermore, time I wanted to use the main post office side to post a parcel, I rushed from from work only to have someone shaking their head, mouthing ‘closed’ the other side of the locked door. At 5:22pm!!! When your opening hours are listed until 5:30, you really ought to be open until then.

I have to use regularly for work purposes. Two of the staff are very pleasant so this no reflection on them, always chat and are very polite. The other however is rude every time, she takes a pride in being unhelpful, throws paperwork back at you and pretty much sneers with delight when unable to do something. Her customer service skills are atrocious. Often the counter closed sign is put up despite a trail of customer's waiting to be served leading back out of the entrance, no apology. Add to that, I was lied to, was told system was down (without even attempting to do anything) yet miraculously a colleague went back within an hour and low and behold another member of staff was able to complete the task without an issue, and no word of any problems with their systems that day!
