I really wouldn’t bother with management. They all seem to have an ego. I reported an issue ages ago with them and recently had some information back through an outside source stating I had rights in the matter legally. I never got a phone back over the complaint by the company on the first call. It’s only months after I received information back regarding this matter through the outside source I then remembered. I’m very forgetful bordering on what was I writing about? (I am not really that bothered as I only use the company when I lose something like jigs heads and I’m also near by .I get them on line at Predator tackle mostly or other sites that I found to be more family business orientated and also you’re keeping things reel and not feeling like you’re dealing with an ego on the other side of the phone. Nobody likes dealing with call centre mostly). I did feel niggled with the conversation on the phone with the company office. What could have been resolved quickly without an issue wasn’t. It felt as if i were a worker for the company rather than being a customer, in the sense of send your information by email to HR and then we will look into it. As I stated family run business makes you feel like you are getting a better service and that you get the sense of traditional values in the U.K. and that’s good in my opinion and I guess mostly how other humans feel too. It just isn’t worth the bother. I wrote this review purely because I had time to do so after the phone call back by the company ( I can’t remember the day ). I only write reviews on poor services. A very much listen to the hand attitude.

Fantastic service. I duplicated an order. (My fault) I called them on Monday and spoke to a guy called Rob. He cancelled one of the orders and issued a refund. Here we are on Wednesday (2 day's later) and the cash is back in my bank. I've used AD for some years and never had a problem. Thank you Rob. I'm putting this on as to many people are ready to complain but never acknowledge outstanding service.

I have been given barely any support other than a generic email reply. I have tried multiple ways to contact you regarding my order and have had radio silence back.
If an order is likely to take longer than expected I would expect some note when placing the order…
Thanks to the lack of communication I have been left high and dry for my trip with no time to make other arrangements

Absolutely shocking service ordered a sleeping back 2 week before Christmas didn't recieve a email saying it had been despatched so phoned anglingdirect to be told they didn't have it in stock so why dis it let me order then? Was told I could swap the item for something similar value which I said I'd phone back the day after as it wasn't for me it was a present for my day after speaking to him I phoned the day after to be told the lines were shut until after Christmas however after Christmas I had a email saying the original item they told me wasn't in stock had now been picked and packed and still sat here today waiting to recieve they item well after Christmas thanks alot bunch of cowboys

3 of the same rods have arrived and have all been broken.
I’m so disappointed.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS NO PRODUCTS IN STOCK AND THEY STILL LET YOU PLACE THE ORDER AND YOU END UP HAVING TO CHASE THE ORDER. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SHOCKING ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH

Never ever will I use this firm again. I am a £1600 pole missing and no replies to e mails. I suspect I was lied to by an operator yesterday when he assured me it would be with me today. Next stop trading standards and a refund from the credit card company if if doesn’t show.
