Genuinely haven’t experience poorer customer service in a while, I came into the post office for the first time wanting to post some football trading cards off to my nephew, I hadn’t done it before so I admit I was clueless on what to do, the guy at the counter said I couldn’t scan my qr code for a label yet I had to package it first even though I wasn’t too sure on the packaging dimensions associated with the qr label. Anyways I had to pay for a padded envelope but they didn’t sell them in packs which I thought was strange for a post office, anyways I buy one for 60p but it had a £2 card limit on his card machine again thought was that strange for a post office. A lady next to me kindly took the £2 from her card and I thanked her. He then scanned the qr code and said that it was a label for a bigger padded envelope and I need to buy an a4 size for £1 he then proceeded to repeat that there was a £2 card limit. I was getting increasingly frustrated as he wasn’t helping me at all and seemed very much like he wanted to take my money despite myself being on crutches as I cannot walk due to being disabled. I felt very taken advantage of due to the fact that I hadn’t used this post office before. After the a4 envelope was purchased I emphasised how he could’ve helped me a bit more due to my situation which he could clearly see however he went on to say he didn’t like the way I was getting frustrated and that he gives a lot of money to charity which is absolutely great if he does but that comment showed how he clearly was missing the point! He then continued to tell me that he doesn’t tolerate my frustrations to which I just thanked him for the service and left. I then had to wait outside of the store for a taxi (again due to not being mobile) to which I could hear the gentlemen behind the till explaining everything that had just happened to the lady who recently entered the shop- which is probably the most unprofessional thing you could do! I get that people complain about others but at least do it to your coworkers on your break for example! I’ve just left very upset and feel very taken advantage off, I thought he’d be a lot more accommodating to my situation and it would’ve been much better if he just walked me through the process of posting a package so I know for next time! Instead he took £4 extra in total for in a nutshell a padded envelope. I hope I’m not being too unreasonable with this but I am very upset at the experience

This store is a mess, both inside and out. The interior is disorganised and unkempt, while the exterior is covered in vandalism, making the whole area feel dodgy and unwelcoming. It's clear that little care or attention goes into maintaining the premises before you even walk in.

On top of that, I’ve had several frustrating experiences when attempting to visit with a heavy parcel, only to find the store closed during their advertised opening hours. There’s never any notice explaining why they’re closed or when they’ll reopen, leaving customers stranded with no information. It’s incredibly inconvenient and unprofessional.

I’ve given this place multiple chances, but every time I’ve visited (and it was open), the experience has been consistently unpleasant.
The man who works here treats customers with such unwarranted rudeness and disdain, it's shocking. I’ve never encountered someone in customer service with such a dismissive and condescending attitude.

Both myself and my friend were treated with complete disrespect for no apparent reason. From rolling his eyes when I ask a question, getting visibly annoyed when my friend asked for vape liquid, overall behaving as though we were inconveniencing him by simply making a purchase and dropping off a parcel. It’s as though basic politeness or decency is too much to ask. God forbid you need to send a parcel, that's what I usually go there for and that’s when the attitude hits a whole new level of arrogance.

This individual seems to judge people based on what they’re buying or the service they are using, which is bizarre and unprofessional. If you’re going to sell things like raw papers and alcohol in a student-heavy area, maybe reconsider your job if you are that judgmental and have such disdain for your customer's choices?

The experience was so negative that it ruined our mood for the rest of the day and frankly, I won’t be returning. I suggest they sell the business to someone who can maintain a shop and actually values their customers and doesn't go out of their way to make them feel small for no reason at all.

Life is becoming increasingly more expensive, customers are choosing to spend their money on their business and they are incapable of answering a simple question about a receipt without expressing a level of arrogance and anger that's as unwarranted as it was uncomfortable.

If you need to send Evri parcels, there are lockers on the street ahead and more just outside of Sainsbury's, there's also another ParcelShop about 10 minutes from here in Mauldeth Rd. If you need a post office there's one about 15 minutes away by foot in Withington and if you need a convenience store, there's loads in Withington far cheaper and with far better customer service.

Horrible service, but above all, horrible arrogant man. May this place close down and re-open into a good store for the area which is much needed.

I do not write reviews usually, but this Post Office has been tremendous. They provide me with the complementary special delivery bags whenever I ask, unlike other Post Office shops in the area, I have never had an issue with postage and the owner of the shop is lovely, and always spares a moment to ask how I am.

10/10 recommend.

Will never use this post office again, awful staff who offer no customer service. Would not give me parcel without ID even though the email from the retailer mentioned nothing about bringing ID to collect my parcel! I kindly showed my passport he would not accept! Do not use this post office!

The staff here are always very friendly and helpful. Kamran in particular always puts a smile on my face on every visit. Aside from the post office facilities they are stocked with a really good range of general food and drink items as well as general household goods e.g. soap, toothpaste, toilet roll etc. so it’s a really handy shop / post office to have so close by. Other small shops could learn a thing or two from the great customer service here as it is this in particular that keeps me coming back. Keep up the good work
