My experience with Manchetts Burwell is not good. They are incompetent, untrustworthy, unreliable dishonest garage. They claimed that they have changed clutch and flywheel for they charged 1584£. They provided one year warranty. Gearbox was leaking, for which I went there seven times to fix it. They claim that they have fix gearbox leakage last week but I haven’t checked it yet because I was away for training. Engine tray is missing, I reported that and lady on reception said that she is GM of the company, I should buy it and she will pay, but last week when I went there for the seventh time to fix gearbox seal leakage she completely denied that she had not said that she will pay for missing tray. One the worker said that even they have it they cannot fix and fit it. They are so unprofessional and nontechnical. I wouldn’t recommend them ever.

The clutch on our Skoda packed up. Manchetts did a great job of replacing it and our flywheel. Courteous, good communication, fair price and a courtesy car. Highly recommended

Can't begin to say how grateful we are to Manchetts. Was up in Suffolk for the weekend from London, car conked out and breakdown mechanic diagnosed as an alternator failure - on a Saturday morning - only a couple of days before an impending holiday trip in the car.

Options in Bury were non-existent, all garages full and not able to look at swiftly. Manchetts said come over and we'll do out best and they did! Fixed and ready on the Tuesday morning. So so so grateful. Thank you so much!

Recently my car was taken here via the RAC. The communication with them was rubbish. I know garages are busy atm but if you say you will call a customer, then you should. I was given a courtesy car, with no peterol in it and was told when I picked my car up 4 days later, that this was £6 a day. No mention of this when my car was taken there Monday morning. Then there was the bill...for what they did and the parts, I was disgusted, I litterally felt sick to my stomach at how much they charged me. Oh and my passenger door was scratched which I noticed when I got home. I hope I never ever ever ever have to step foot into this establishment again.

The air tyre machine took our money and didn't work. When we confronted the woman at the desk and asked for help she just said it was an outside contract. Well... you're getting the money. Its a machine on your property. Couldn't have at least come to take a look or put an 'out of order sign'

Outstanding service from the off. For a start... full courtesy car offered throughout the entire time we've had the car in. The fault is a known JLR dealer problem, but they didn't want anything to do with resolving the issue... and would have been twice the cost of Manchetts. Thorough inspection from CJ and the team, and diagnosed problem quickly. We rang around for quotes on getting the work carried out by another couple of garages also, just as a comparison and Manchetts were cheaper than everyone else by a few hundred pounds. For us though, the customer service has been outstanding... and they literally can't do anything more to help than they already have. All fixed and pleased with how smooth everything has gone in terms of communication and cover on the courtesy vehicle. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

Broke down on way home from funeral today. Had a lovely bloke called Joe couldn't have been more helpful. Kept me informed where he was and how far away. Took care in loading my car on trailer. Made sure I was safe and out way of traffic. Worth the cost ha

Took my car here last week for it's MOT. Very easy to get booked in and the process of dropping the vehicle off was seamless too, including collecting a courtesy car.
Communication was excellent whilst the car was in with them, regarding what works were needed to be carried out, along with a collection time that worked best for me. I've taken the car here before on numerous occasions and always have the same high level of service, as well as more than reasonable prices.
Finally a trustworthy garage!
