The staff at Sowerbys were extremely helpful in arranging four viewings for us over a two day period. We had travelled from Wales to Norfolk and it was important for us to be able to view properties in a timeframe that would also fit in with our return travel arrangements. We were assisted by 3 property specialists over the two days, Jackie, Milly & Nick and each was very helpful. A particular shoutout to Milly who was with us for two of the viewings. She was very understanding of our needs/preferences in our search for a prospective new home and has promised to keep in touch in the event something that meets our criteria comes on to their books. She seemed knowledgeable about the property and the process in general, and had a rapport with the seller who was also present. Communications by both email and telephone were informative and timely.

I just wanted to give my honest opinion on this company and how I was dealt with today.

I was extremely late to make payment for the property this month as I received no invoice, reminders or texts until yesterday evening. This is not acceptable on my part, I agree but I light reminder would surely offer some justification for the way I was spoken to.

Yesterday evening, I confirmed I would pay and then midday today, I had the most unwelcoming call from Sophie threatening to issue my notice and end my tenancy! This was the second time they had made contact all month! One being yesterday and the first today yet I was being spoken to like I had defaulted on all my payments and ignored them for years.

That's all I need after the situation I have been through with this company. I was promised at least a 2 year tenancy in this property and after buying and ordering the furniture and internet, I was told by the owner it is being sold.

Now I dealt with this very amicably and accepted that it was not my property and so ultimately the final say did not fall on me. You can't imagine the stress I went through, cancelling things and franticly trying to find something else to move into within a few months! The agreement we had was totally violated and seeing as I had confirmed with the husband I could stay another year only three days before that call to say it was sold, I think I handled it pretty well!

Shockingly unprofessional and outright rude attitude from Sophie chasing the payment today, nobody under any circumstances should be spoken to like that and especially considering the circumstances. It's unnecessary to speak to customers like that, regardless, it's unnecessary to speak to anyone that like.
