ATM machine ate my card for no reason today around 3pm, on the 25th of June.2024. I asked the staff working in HSBC why did that happened. The male staff working there were absolutely RUDE. He said "I have been working in banking many years, it is too complecated for you to understand.", then he sounded like it was due to a faulty machine, so I said "is it because a faulty machine?" Then the staff said "Do not cut me off while I am talking." And got really angry. I still do not understand why he needed to be so rude to me for no reason. HSBC should train their staff better. Unhelpful and irresponsible staff he was.

Place is run down. I know Camden Town is a pretty scuzzy area, but as I walked up to the unkempt door, with filth all over the pavement outside, I feared the branch had been shut down like so many others. Inside was better than outside, but not by a lot! Staff upstairs were friendly though.

This 5 star review is for Mr Dominic who is working for HSBC in Camden branch and not for HSBC bank . Dominic is very professional banker and few times took his time and did his best to help me but the banking system has issues and thats why my business banking problem is not sorted since November 2023. I will officially complain regarding this ongoing problem and i definitely can nominate HSBC as the worst banking system in the world.

I cannot thank the manager Jay at HSBC Camden enough!!!. Literally a life saver he bent over backwards to help me open my account and get an international cheque cashed when my own bank didn’t do a thing. Will def be making the switch to HSBC thanks so so much

Wanted to sort out some account issues and they were the only HSBC branch with an available appointment the next day.

Went through the process with Tak, and she spent a whole hour with us, going through everything in great detail with no rush whatsoever.

Fantastic service and highly recommend!
