These ladies are absolutely fantastic! I have recently moved my accounts to PPT, and i am so happy with the service they are providing. I felt really relaxed and comfortable with Jill and Keren the moment I met them and trust them implicitly with my accounts.

I have been using PPT Accountancy for just over a year and a half now, as a first time sole trader. Jill and Keren are very knowledgeable and professional and always happy to explain any queries I may have with regards to my accounts (as this is not my strong point) there's never a silly question and overall I'm very happy with the service I receive.

Shockingly rude - I was a customer of PPT accountancy for 7 years, but have always felt harassed and patronised by the tone of their emails. When I tried to give context for a change in my working situation, I was rudely interrupted with an "off you go then!."

I thought I had told them I no longer needed their work as I was going into full time PAYE employment last year. In my view, I thought I had terminated our working agreement through this email. When I retold this story to give context for the shift, and to ask for clarirt, before I could finish the response I got was to be interrupted mid-sentence with "Off you go then!" "I find this quite shocking!" Followed by some further criticisim, interruption, and to be made to feel like I am wasting their time.

I have paid them thousands over the years, but stuck with their services, in spite of price rises, as they are clearly knowledgeable and do get the job done and have offered me advice, all be it in patronising tones. For context, I was a freelance musician and music teacher. I don't earn a lot. I thought I had chosen wisely.

For a long standing customer giving over a significant fee to be treated this way is disgusting. I dreaded calling them or interacting with them because I always knew the emails would be disruptively rude and I would be made to feel guilty about not understanding a process, or having the right paper work to hand.

For clarity for future customers, Keren was always more helpful than Jill. I am not sure why Jill took over my account but it is Jill's emails which are rude, abrupt, patronising, unhelpful, and unkind. I'd recommend finding alternative support as a sole trader or self-employed person working alone, as this service will not provide the understanding and support you'll need, and you will be made to feel you're stupid and treated with aggression and patronising words. I can only describe her approach as toxic. Find other accountants.

It's very difficult for members of public to understand the intricacies of accountancy, especially when your hours are spent trying to build a successful company in the fields of expertise you do understand. Without doubt the decision to go with PPT Accountancy was the best we could have made. Their experience is second to none. Its very comforting to be in such capable hands. They are so approachable and happy to take time to explain processes.
I can't recommend highly enough.
