Had a wonderful four night stay at Stockland Lodge! Nicky is a lovely host, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The property is lovely with loads of off-street parking which is great. I had a lovely room with a modern TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a large bathroom. There were spare pillows and toiletries and Nicky stressed that if I needed anything else I was only to ask.Everywhere was spotlessly clean. There was orange juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal on the table for breakfast and the cooked breakfast that followed was lovely. I chose poached eggs on toast but I saw others with a full english breakfast and everyone was saying how good it was. I mentioned that I was vegetarian and Nicky offered to do me the full English with vegetarian sausages if I wanted. Nothing seemed too much trouble. All this and it was very reasonably priced! I couldn't recommend Stockland Lodge highly enough! Thank you Nicky for a lovely stay!

Such a great place to stay this weekend. We joined our family who were there for the whole week already and we were greeted by Nicki even though we arrived quite late in the night. The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious and clean and the bed was so comfortable it felt like we were in a cloud! It was a struggle to get up in the morning but it was definitely worth it for the tasty breakfast!! Great choice and good portion size to get us ready for the day of exploring. Plenty of parking outside as well which made it very easy for us to go out for the day. Would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Stockwell Lodge for our family holiday this week. We stayed 5 nights and couldn't have asked for more. Nicky was so accomodating for us and our 3 month old baby and went above and beyond in every way. She was also very thorough and respectful of the government Corona virus guidance which puts you at ease. The breakfast was so big and so tasty - set us up perfectly each day! The bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate and there was clear instructions as to how to be safe throughout our stay given the current climate. Nicky had lots of local tips with walks nearby as well as places to explore further afield. Couldn't recommend more highly. Thank you!

We returned to Stockwell Lodge after far too long. Nicky & Graham welcomed us as if we were family. We came with our family for their first taste of Stockwell Lodge finery. We had told the family that they would be treated to lovely rooms and seriously wonderful breakfasts.||We were 6 adults and one baby. Nicky helped with suitable places to visit and places to eat. She also provided us with information regarding staying safe and used the correct PPE when serving breakfast.||Whilst mentioning breakfast it was as brilliant as we remembered. Fresh fruit, fruit juice, cereal, yoghurt, tea or coffee and cooked breakfast (including one vegetarian). Sets you up perfectly for a busy day. ||Bedrooms were clean and tidy with ensuite bathrooms and there were tea & coffee available.||Would we come back? Of course we would. This is already our third time.||We would definitely recommend Nicky & Graham at Stockwell Lodge to anyone.

Simply one of the best guest houses I've been to.|This is our 3rd year visiting for a golf competition, and this is the only place to stay, simple.|Nicky is such a great host, the comfiest of bedrooms and amenities and wow , that breakfast! The best spread you would get anywhere, everything you would want delivered perfectly.|Nicky couldn't have been more accommodating and the rooms, set up and cleanliness showed just how much they wanted to make it a great experience. |Don't keep looking, book it! |

An excellent place to stay, with plenty of parking. It was immaculately kept, Nicki was a delight, the rooms and bathrooms were well stocked with the essentials (tea, coffee, towels, soap etc) and refreshed each day. A wide range breakfast options available, starting with cereal. The 'Full English' was freshly cooked, tasty and good quality. The table had fresh fruit, yoghurt and preserves. Location was superb, a 5 minute stroll into Braunton, and a short drive to the fabulous Saunton Golf Club. A must if you need to stay in this location.

Beautiful airy bedroom, breakfast was superb, Nicki was so helpful ensuring that we knew where to eat and could not do enough for us. Highly recommend if want peace and quiet place to stay. Situated away from all traffic.

We had a lovely stay here and felt perfectly safe with the COVID-19 precautions that Nicky has put in place. Nicky made us feel very welcome during our stay and the breakfast that is included was excellent. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Braunton.
