We went here for tea when staying on a local caravan site, we seen it when driving past and looked nice.

We just walked in and got greeted by helpful and friendly staff, we ordered food & drinks , both decent prices for the area. The food was really good!, one of the best things we ate while on holiday here 👍

We will be sure to visit again when in the area 🙂

A great find for us whilst on holiday in the area. Good food , good selection and comfortable seating with elbow room. Can accommodate children and wheelchairs separate from the main bar. The main bar had a fantastic atmosphere and vibe on the Saturday night we were there. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the landlady couldn't have been more accommodating. Definitely recommend!

We popped in for some lunch, not many customers so not much atmosphere.
Bar staff was very friendly sorted out drinks and food orders quickly
We had burgers, which were very tasty and good portion size.
The decor is very in keeping with an older pub, I would imagine it could get quite lively when it's busy in the evenings.

This was quite the opposite of what we expected..food amazing..and great size portions..very friendly host and staff..made our short stay for evening meal very enjoyable..great value for money and tasty..proper gammon steaks with both pineapple and eggs x2 of each..my wife had a delicious chicken tikka masala with all the side dishes included 😋

Visited for a light meal one evening.
To say your on cctv would be an understatement think wr counted 14 cctv cameras.
No atmosphere
No light background music
Lighting was harsh
Food was nothing special
Service was slow at the bar
Just very un impressed.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. On a small break with my husband and our dog and stopped in for dinner. Staff made us feel very welcome from the start. Our dog was welcomed so happily and fussed over which he absolutely loved. He loved his treats. Even had a dog menu (we opted for the roast dinner)!!! Food was absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere although was a little quiet. Definitely a hidden gem. If we were staying longer in the area we would definitely come back on a regular basis. Can't fault it one bit. Would have stayed longer if our puppy didn't decide to have a meltdown (sorry anyone who heard his racket)
