AVOID!! Policy went up over 600% with no claims. This company has no phone contact, you are forced to "live chat" online during which they will say "sorry, but this is how it is, we are doing our level best to price gouge the customer. Look at the bad reviews, and consider them level with my experience. How any company can justify a price hike this steep is baffling. Rest assured - this is their best price, and they are doing their best for the customer blah blah blah... Again, avoid this company.

BE VERY CAREFUL! I insured my contents with this company and then discovered that nothing is insured away from home unless they have a photo of it.

Want to take your camera out? Better make sure they have a photo of it.

Doing some work on your laptop? Better make sure they have a photo of it.

Got a new phone? Best send them a photo.

Bought a new watch? Better make sure you send them a photo.

Luckily I discovered this insane term before my 14 day cooling off period was up. BE! VERY! CAREFUL!

In all my years of renewing my home insurance, Frontier Insurance is definitely the worst provider I have come across. Thankfully I will not be renewing with them. They insist you have make a full blown claim in order to send out a locksmith despite me paying for home emergency as an additional cover for this very reason. I have opted to pay £95 direct to a local locksmith instead for a quicker resolution. Stay clear as Frontier are not fit for purpose. I will rather pay a little more at renewal than have to deal with this type of hassle from cowboy providers.

This place is a joke. Doubled our premium before offering us a settlement figure for a burglary. Over 20k stolen they offered us 1600 …. -excess.
Treated us like criminals throughout the process and we will definitely be seeking legal aid against frontier insurances frankly criminal levels of cover.

"THIS COMPANIES COVER IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER ITS WRITTEN
ON"
My "90 year old" mothers copper water tank was leaking due to corrosion and caused the ceiling of the bathroom below to collapse, I tried to make a claim on her behalf for the repair and was told that she was not covered as the assesor said it was deemed as accidental damage which she did not have cover for but she had cover for leaking pipes and water tanks on the policy cover..
The cover cost her £500..
The terms and conditions of FRONTIER INSURANCE T&C are written in such a language that they avoid any liability..
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND AVOID THIS COMPANY AS IT WILL END IN TEARS...

SCAM ALERT: Avoid this company at all cost. I had a small claim for just under £3k for a leaking pipe which caused water damage to my living room floor. They have just sent me a renewal quote which has gone up from £268.22 to £3095.55. Zero for customer service as well as you can only interact via an online form with zero human interaction! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!

I have been using Frontier now for a few years and each year it is so easy to renew with them and are cheaper when doing a price comparison.
This year my insurance went down it price. They are easy to contact, always friendly and will deal with any questions you may have quickly and efficiently. So I’m a very happy customer.

No one to contact when we had flooding in house, leaving us out on a limb due to it being a Sunday. No contact details as well to get an estimate on our claim for new insurance. Avoid at all costs.
