PAUL REED from customer claims (critical illness claim) emailed me "From the information now received from your specialist, it appears that there was an alternative diagnosis made, and that overall there's is no confirmation that you have indeed suffered a stroke, and the information shows that you were informed of this on the basis of more recent scans".

I had a ischaemic stroke on April 26th. I provided you with all the documents from the hospital that confirm so, i have been calling you DAY after DAY and your REFUSE to accept my valid claim. Even my stroke specialist called you to confirm it! Your terms and conditions accept stroke as critical illness and you are failing to pay. I have a 1 yeaor old daughter, i have cried every time over the phone cause your refuse to pay me and i cannot afford the nursery or mortgage bills. This is not right and i will be taking this to the TV and newspapers because an INSURANCE FAILS TO PAY A VALID CLAIM. I have raised a complaint, you said on Thursday 11th July i will receive Paul's managers call back by today Monday 15th July. You said 48h es the escalation complaints procedure and you failed it. You have no idea how much this has worsened my disability. If i don't get contacted by tomorrow Tuesday 16th July 2024 before 10am, I will contact CAB and the news and i will ensure everyone knows the damage that you are doing.

came from eastbourne this morning on 29/10/24 to get my dad’s laptop fixed - he went into the bank part and was met with an *extremely rude* lady who was supposedly security! she then proceeded to ask questions such as “who do you work for” and couldn't seem to fathom my dads answers that he had repeated 3 times. when he said who he worked for she said “well so do i, which department” in a very abrupt tone, when he said security, she replied “well so am i” again, in a very abrupt tone, she even had the audacity to say “why're you here then” to which he then refused to speak to her any longer and spoke to the nice gentleman who was also there at the time.

Absolutely awful customer service. I moved 18 months ago and changed my address with L and G life insurance. They never changed the address. So when I rung about cancelling they said they didn't have that post code told them my old address. I couldn't remember the post code so Dylan (customer service) rudly told me Google is a wonderful thing and to Google it......then why is this a security question? He was rude and argumentative (because I was cancelling) and asked why I even bothered to ring. My DD is cancelled. Never heard a customer service so rude!

Beware these are cowboys for true killing
Money liers took my life insurance for 9 years told it's £7 layer took £20 please do look for another insurance I cancelled my direct debit and on the phone told been cancelled. Now keep on sending letter. Cannot understand these kind insurance

Waiting for a critical illness claim which has had the medical reports since June 23rd . They have all information . Can never speak to anyone In the department and every time I speak to a different department have been told 5 times someone will call me back and never do . When you have a cancer diagnosis and surviving on ssp is disgusting. If you want critical illness cover or life assurance don't use legal and general .

Dont be insured by this company. They treat disabled people like dirty.
They leave you to get sick in your oen home so they can for fill there own agenda of lies, false documentation and cover ups.
They have left me in a mould riddled house even though they new I was seriously ill .
Bunch of cow boys dont waste your money.

Please don’t use this company, they take money from you for years and don’t pay out when a loved one dies. They look for all ways and loopholes not to pay out. Stay clear for your own sakes

Utterly fed up that we keep receiving mail from this company for people who lived at our address over 10 years ago despite us returning the mail with 'Not known at this address' written on it. uneconomical and environmentally poor.
