Horrible horrible horrible company. They did both the check in inventory and the check out inventory for our previous property in Brighton. I've also been speaking to them via email to ask for explanations because they are clearly in league with the landlords.
For example, in the first inventory they took pictures from a distance not showing details. During the second inventory they took detailed pictures of stains that have always been there, probably for years, claiming we caused them.
A suggestion: ask your landlord what inventory company they want to use. If they say it's Proactive Inventories, ask them to work with an impartial one.

They inspected a flat that a client of mine rented a flat. Upon his end of tenancy, they charged him for a tiny amount of dust on a skirting board £5 to clean it off !!!and attempted to blame the cleaners for damage to a cooker that was already in bad state of repair due to scratching.
Beware of this company. If your letting agent uses these people expect to be blamed for any issues however tiny that they forensically look for so as to extort extra money from your deposit.
Avoid this lot at all costs as they are just after to our hard earned deposit.
Any agents who use them should be investigated and avoided.

Very helpful accommodating company who have always responded promptly and thoroughly to queries. Particular thanks to Poppy Ash who has often gone to a lot of trouble to check details for me and is always so cheerful and enthusiastic on the phone.

Absolutely diabolical service. Inventory was so bad I thought it had been mixed up with another property until I saw a picture of 3 weeds that I recognised. Completely useless.
