I have never had any interest auctioning my property, but have had several emails and calls from GOTO checking up on my sale... Trying to talk me in to auctioning after 3 months being on the market?
I think it is a link in with Purple Bricks that flagged my sale to them but it is not appreciated. It is essentially cold-calling and I have asked twice now not to be on their system, explaining the property is now sold. Why would I want these calls, asking when my exchange date is?!

I used this company to get an expensive survey for a flat I purchased. The surveyor missed some significant water damage to a windowsill; and when I asked goto to cover the costs of the repairs with their insurance, which was one of the many advantages they listed when selling this survey to me, they declined. I would not trust them again for similar services.

If you are selling a residential property avoid GOTO like the plague. They will promise a quick sale, instead the auction rules will actually put off a lot of prospective buyers. It will be far quicker to use a traditional estate agent. They will also say that the auction won’t cost you a penny, but what they don’t tell you is that the charge the buyer thousands. The buyer will take this fee off the price they offer you, so in the end you will be paying more for the auction. Avoid them. Don’t instruct GOTO.

Avoid at all cost.

These people performed a RICS valuation about 100k lower than the actual price of our property. We had to pay for a second valuation and therefore wasted money and time.
