Likely one of the best locations within the neighborhood, easily the cleanest and most exquisite.

An extraordinary park to stroll in and straighten up your thoughts. Large enough to literally get lost in. It's surprisingly clean and even has disabled parking.

Safely can be an issue, as do I remember a situation where two kids were robbed late in the evening.

But the park has cute ducks so five stars...

This place is so pretty and clean. Me and my sisters just drove around to find a place to walk and relax and we came across this park. Didn’t expect such a clean beauty. The ducks were also fascinating to watch, though I do wish they cleaned the lake more often.

The park is in the process of being made over. We walked around it yesterday and we were impressed with the work that is going on there. From what I could see there is a lot of work happening that will definitely benefit wildlife. A bog area with a board walk the stream has been opened up. The lake looks much better with the edges all maintained and planting around it.
The large building that I believe will include a coffee area and possibly food looks nice, made with wood panels. Lots of trees being planted, along with shrubs and annual flowers. Considering it was a cool day we heard a green woodpecker along with other birds we also noticed ground nesting bees (harmless they can't sting, before you panic.)
Our granddaughter enjoyed the swing and slide in the play area. There are football pitches, cricket areas and a basket ball court with parking provided. I look forward to the park opening so we can access all these areas properly.

Fishing, walking, or just time out for some quietness 😉 Just built a cafe, and resurfacing the walkways. Also landscaping and repair to kids area to follow.
Update: last week I saw about 4 or 5 large parakeets all fighting for the same nest hole.
Lots of squirrels to feed ( peanuts in or out of the shells )
Today Iv been using a new bird finding app called Merlin, loads of different bids in the park, love it 👍 Watch out for squirrel's they love peanuts in the shell.

We did a 2 hour walk from Langley to and around West Smethwick Park. We did a 6.15 mile walk. The park is in a good location with various services including a playground, basketball area and small lake with wildfowl.

Lots of people enjoying themselves and the fine weather.

Pathways are good for walking, as they seem newly laid. There are a variety of trees in a small arboretum near the lake.

There was litter in the carpark from people eating fast food in their cars and throwing it out. Other than that, a good place to do circuit walks with some slight elevation to make distance walking slightly more challenging.
