Our favorite local spot whenever we feel lazy too cook, but fancy something homely❤️ I love their fish and chips (nice batter) and Steak&ale pie.

There’s plenty of space outside, but for indoors I’d suggest to book (especially for 5-8 pm). Kitchen closes at 9pm, so consider that when planning your visit. There’s spacious parking just near the pub and B&B around the corner.

Very cosy and country style pub, friendly staff and food was delicious! Proper home made comfort food. I had mince and dumplings, portions were generous too. We stayed in The Old Mill nearby and it's literally a 2 minute walk to the pub which was very handy! Would definitely return.

Went here with a friend for a meal. We had mince and dumplings. Wow, was delicious and a very generous portion! It's a lovely place but we felt a bit cramped as it was busy. Couldn't quite relax as tables on either side could hear the conversation. Still a lovely evening and we would highly recommend 😘

Staying nearby for a long weekend, popped in for Sunday lunch. Good catering for drop ins and diners with reservations with a dedicated area kept free for drop ins. First ever Parmo, not disappointed and not sure about the reviews stating drowned in Beschamel sauce, clearly not as per the photo. Nice collection of regional ales on draught alongside the usual standard lagers. All good 👍

As a woman alone on business I am very selective and this pub-restaurant is equally happy to host a lone customer as a family. The service is quick and friendly, the wine lovely and the seabass with veg side was delicious!

Would not go back here or recommend it to anyone. The food was poor and not cheap. We complained about it at the end when we found someone and they didn't want to know. Pub was dirty and a little run down. So, it's not a great experience.
