I have been using Alexander Swan for the best part of 16 years for my window cleaning business insurance, I have always found them to be professional and helpful. It was only after I was involved in a bad accident, having been hit by an insured driver who fled scene that I can’t praise and thank Sarah and her team enough, they got me a replacement van within 3 days and although we had a breakdown with the van it was resolved quickly and efficiently by Pietro and Sarah, getting me back on the road. Sarah has gone above and beyond in helping me all the way with my claim for both my van and system as they were written off in the accident to receive a fair settlement. I will continue to use Alexander Swan for many years to come and will not be looking elsewhere for my insurance in the future.

Alexander Swan is a fantastic insurance service. Pietro has been so helpful every step of the way. We recently purchased a new van for our window cleaning service and Alander has sorted everything out for us. We are still waiting for A plan (Howden) insurance to get back to us. Wouldn't use anyone else. Ask for Pietro as he gave us a great deal and got us sorted.

Would give minus if I could. Really poor claims service, no update or follow up. I used to be an insurance broker, had my own brokerage. This is not the poor service to expect from a broker -
I would never have allowed this level of service in my business which I have now sold. Also policy not explained right at inception, bad advice. Put me out of pocket as a window cleaning company. Have to keep chasing. Do not use this company by any means. Better to pay bit more and go with someone else such as A Plan - much better and clear advice.

I just wanted to say what a superb experience I have had with the Alexander Swan team. I have placed my insurance with them for four years now and they have been excellent throughout that time. Jade has been my go-to, and helped me through several issues from accident to breakdown. Yesterday the RAC arrived within 1 hour, replaced my van battery and I was on my way back to work - awesome service and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a friendly, efficient and personal service along with great insurance cover!

Do not touch this company with a barge pole, gave me a replacement van which was in poor condition water heater did not work filters unchanged left windows with spotting everywhere. After complaining told me that they would collect van back and that I could claim for lost earnings via my insurance claim. However when claim was settled no earnings where allowed as Alexander Swan had told MY insurance company that they had supplied me with a van for over a week for me to work with. In turn for this they received £1100 from MY insurance company .
But I could not use this van as it was not fit for purpose. I could and I still am thinking of taking them to court for loss of earnings totaling £2000.
Staff lied to MD Sarah Richardson who in turn offered me £400 which I declined. Used this company for 8 years, NEVER AGAIN treated me terribly so much for loyalty. Stole money due to me for loss of earnings, disgusting company.
It is true to say that this happened back in 2016. I had six months arguing with Alexandra Swann then another 18 months with the financial ombudsman who ended up stating that it was not an insurance policy issue but an issue with regard a hire agreement so nothing they could further do for me. Very frustrating however I could take court proceedings against them which I fully intend to do.
Everything I have stated is true and have evidence to prove.
So could you please state back here which of what I have said is untrue.
