Paid online for a parcel to be shipped overseas, printed out the label at home and took it to Wendover PO to get sent (the Royal Mail website clearly stated that any post office branch would accept the delivery of the parcel)… only to be told the parcel was too heavy and they couldn’t send it for me. When I asked why she just said over and over that it was too heavy and there’s nothing she could do. I’d already paid for the shipping (and weight) and when I asked what I should do the woman behind the counter told me to use parcel force. There was a huge time constraint on sending this parcel and so I couldn’t just sort it out another day. I was made to feel I’d done something wrong and shouldn’t have been able to pay for the shipping of my parcel online and that I had been stupid for somehow expecting them to be able to take the parcel…. Because of the time constraint on sending it I decided to take the parcel to Aylesbury PO later that same day as a last hope… and they had absolutely no issues with the parcel weight and it was sent off without any issues. I am extremely disappointed and angered by the way I was made to feel I’d somehow messed up when it is now clear the Wendover PO attendant just didn’t want to deal with my parcel on a personal basis when quite clearly she was obligated to accept the parcel.

I use Wendover Post Office frequently and find Shanti very efficient, but when she is away I do not get the same degree of service. The layout of the Post Office is very poor with the 2 counters in the same area making conflicting queues. The old layout was much better.

Awful post office. Not helpful at all, don't care about customers.
Go to Halton post office, much more helpful.
The only positive are some nice bits around the shop to buy.

Probably the rudest woman I have ever had the misfortune to come across. She has clearly never heard of Customer Service. She was incredibly rude to a young girl that was being served. I then got barked at after asking a question - It takes nothing to be nice. Go get yourself a job that you can be happy in you absolute misery.

The post office ladies are always helpful and pleasant to me. I once went in to send a package to Italy, then came back to retrieve the package and change the address details, but Shanti was very patient with my lack of decision and did not make me feel silly at all.
I often see the two ladies being very patient and kind to the elderly customers
Keep up the good work!

I went to the Wendover post office to take out a large amount of dollars for work that my bank was unable to help me with. The lady at the counter went above and beyond to help me, calling me to keep me up to date with the process and managing my expectations throughout. When I went to pick them up it was extremely busy, but she was still so polite and helpful when everyone else was so stressed trying to get the post in before the bank holiday! Really appreciated her time, calm and attention. Will go to her rather than my bank in future! Far more helpful 🤣

Requested a parcel to be delivered here for pick up/collection. Was told that they refused to accept delivery of the parcel because it was too big (Xmas hamper size) Why offer the service if you can’t do it?

The Wendover post office is a huge asset to our town. The lady at the counter ( Shanti) has been there for many years and is always very helpful and happy to chat as well when she is not busy ! It is a very warm and friendly place and she goes beyond offering service with a smile.
