Not sure if it was a lady or a gentleman that Iā€™ve just spoken to but Iā€™ve just visited Eaglescliffe post office. (For the first and final time) I was spoken to very rudely by a member of staff who was clearly in a mood. I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever been disrespect so much in my life. Large person with a terrible haircut. Avoid at all costsā€¦

Edit. Not sure if this person worked there or was just there to fix a broken machine at the counter. Either way. Just go somewhere else.

I donā€™t know why they bother having a post office in the pharmacy - itā€™s never open and thereā€™s always a sign on the door saying ā€œclosed today, sorry for any inconvenienceā€. Completely unreliable.

I'm glad this post office still exists, I read a fire destroyed most of the properties a few years ago. It clean and has everything you could need when posting an item. It's I side a pharmacy so you could pick up any medicines while there, as it on the ground floor I'm sure wheelchair access won't be a problem.
