Great service today from Sakhi Baba Fabrics. Their shop is enormous, and has thousands and thousands of curtain samples. Definitely a good idea to physically visit them in person.

Other good thing is that the store is run by the proprietor, who knows literally everything there is to know about fabrics / curtains making / curtain styles / valances / pelmets / headboards etc. Speaking to someone that knowledgeable is far, far better than someone at a chain curtain store.

Sells absolutely everything to do haberdashery. Wide choice of materials for curtains, blinds and upholstery etc and great prices too.
Owner was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help and advise. Brilliant customer service.

It's like entering Pandora's box. Owners are friendly & have years of expertise. You will certainly find something - plethora if designs & materials for furnishings, curtains, bedding, clothing. Also daily needlework items- tassles, zips, thread etc. Some materials are unusual. It's an old established business, not than 40 years since I started going, when they were in Carlisle Road. They also make curtains. Its not expensive.
