Though no money changed hands In my view and everyone I have told this story to says it has Not been provisional, some have suggest I should report her to some type of accounting body due to a lack of professionalism.
I was running out of time to do my taxes I got in contact with Helen as she was local and explained everything, she Took all my original paper when I explained these were my only copies from hundreds of transactions and she said it would not be a problem I gave her a huge pile of paperwork, A few phone calls later was told it going to be a few weeks longer before she could start it due to time of year which i accepted as i had left it late and it was a very busy time for her . after another 4 week i started to ring again but with no answers Then she disappeared of the face of the earth .
Phoned her many times and email her even went to the shared office complex in the end after a few more weeks to find it closed due to virus , visited it more times as the weeks went on and I found it finally open to be told in so many words that her office had been cleared out. Even found her on Facebook and messaged her pleading for my paper work back. I got no answer on anything from Jan/ July 2020 I got no reasons or messages nothing back , I had to pay out all cost for new paperwork and 900 late tax bill and cost of premium accountant to do it as fast as possible.
It could of all been avoided by 1 phone call or email or just sending my paperwork back to me. IT CAUSED ME SO MUCH STRESS
