Absolutely shocking service! This post office is never open as advertised, I can’t count the number of times I have been here during the opening hours and have simply been told by the shop staff that it is not open and they have no idea when it will be opening again

Beyond a parody at this point. On this occasion I've now been trying to collect a parcel for 3 days (5 visits) and I'm not allowed to collect it because the post office is always closed during opening times. It's not the staffs fault but this place needs a permanently trained member of staff so that peoples parcels aren't held to ransom like a prisoner.

The parcel is sat a few meters away but I'm unable to collect it. So frustrating.

At least I feel a bit better now for letting it all out.

They don’t want to work and it’s 10th unsuccessful visit, Google state it is open till 22:00 but they say its closed at 20:00. Waste of time and fuel. I know the lady works in post office and she was standing on post office counter but still said it’s closed. What a joke.

Opening hours are a joke, never open first time you try. They’re always opening late today, closing early or we’ve had to close for a few hours unexpectedly. The post office should just be shut down as it’s rarely functioning as it should

I’ve come twice to try post something and they’ve been closed (even though they state that they’re open) and then on the third time, the guy behind the counter told me that he’s about to take a break so I must just wait for an hour.

This post office is so unreliable as it is very frequently closed during supposed open times. Today I arrived a few minutes past 4pm and the post office counter had staff behind it, but they said it was closed, no reason given and no apology (closing time on a Tuesday is supposed to be 10pm). I am local and walk for 10 minutes from my home to Crown Wood post office, but I then have to walk back home and get in my car to drive 10 minutes to another post office. This is not acceptable. The staff at Crown Wood PO are always friendly, but the unreliable closing is really bad.
