Being a big guy I’m not a fan of fixed seating. However, as we were with friends we gave it a try.
Squeezed in to a corner with my belly touching the table we ordered at the counter.
It’s a chippy with specials and pensioner specials.
We all decided on various fish n chip combinations, tea, coffee etc.
My wife said that her fish was cold in the middle, maybe not helped as we were sat beneath their air con.
All in all, nothing special with watered down vinegar, and awful seats.

Brilliant place to eat in or take away. 4 of us ate inside - menu choice is very good, we had fish & chips and chilli con carne with rice and chips, accompanied by tea/coffee. The customer service side is brilliant - staff are so friendly, helpful and efficient. The food quality and portion sizes were excellent and cups of tea just £1 extra. We visited late afternoon so were able to get a table straight away - my guess is that this place will be packed out during main lunch time and, as far as I am aware, I don't think they do table bookings but best to check this with them directly. We could not believe the meals we had, for the prices we paid. We don't get to Bridgnorth very often but this will be our target earing place when we do.

Always loved this place but what's going on, sent daughter for large chips and she gets this tray.....£5.50 ! The one down the road is the go to from today, you can see relative size due to size of a fork! Shocking 😠

Had a lovely visit to your chippy the other day with my husband —everything was spot on. The chips were golden and crisp, not greasy, just how they should be. Staff were friendly too, which always makes a difference.

Just wondering—do you still do gluten free chips? Would love to bring someone along who’s coeliac, but want to double check first.

Wow. What a little Gem of a place. We popped in today with our granddaughter. We were greeted like old friends. All the ladies were super friendly n very smiley. Nothing was too much trouble when we asked for a few tweeks with our meals. Food was well presented n tasted soooo fresh. Granddaughter said "how do they cooked the fish so good"!!!!!!

Better then 5* , come here every time down from London , my favourite fish & chips out & tops all places ever been too all over , fish is always perfectly battered & so juicy & top quality produce.

The owner is always super welcoming and friendly , amazing prices & there is for sure no better fish & chip shop I could think of

Great British Fish and Chip shop, it’s one place that we always go to for lunch every time we visit Bridgenorth, it’s the third time in 8 months that we’ve been there and it will definitely not be the last, lovely staff, decent prices and good food

The best gluten free fish and chips in the West Midlands...I've been told the non gluten free food is also excellent! It is also very good value. After an unavoidable gap of a couple of years from our last visit, it's lovely to see that the owners/staff are still the same; we won't be leaving it as long before our next visit. The service is excellent, everyone is friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
